    More counter attacks from Pep with that team I think. It is sadly a good side without Stones.

    Not the best side. Even if Matic is old and slow I would have wanted him in that midfield over Pereira and Lingard. Also sadly De Gea in goal. Jones has not played for ages either.

    Hope we can get something out of this.
     
    Mahrez is in top form - will be interesting to see if Williams can hold his own better than Chilwell managed
     
    So that line up confirms Maguire is added to the long list of injuries. Jones v City could turn out to be a total nightmare.

    Pleased that Williams is picked over Young and Shaw. Not too pleased that Lingard is starting again. Martial is at least on the bench.

    Err ok but that one is real, or whatever... I am tired of this situation. We are unlucky, but we also need to get through this one way or another.
     
    Phil Jones versus Manchester City’s attack might be the thing that finally finishes him off. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear after the game that he’s sprained his mind and is out for a decade.

    Pereira in the 8 role? That will be difficult... he's not good with tracking and covering that famous half space that will be exploited if AWB and James push up. But it's good to see Williams, I think he's going to attack a lot on the right. I hope Rashford drift left and Greenwood plays as the false 9 a la Martial, that would provide the number in midfield.
     
    I think our best hope is that City are happy with say a 1-1 draw or something like that. Can't see us doing much today though with the midfield we got.

    Lingard played well last time against City, but Mctominay was the real giant with Fred. Martial was key for our attack too so this side is much weaker.

    Pereira gives us legs, if nothing else. That's how we beat them at the Etihad.

    God know's what system City are going with tonight, though.

    Their last few games have seen them use a 343, but Pep has previously experimented with a 4231.
     
    we just need to shoot on target, ive never seen Bravo make a save of a shot on target.
