    Just hope Mourinho isn't tempted to drop players because of last game's mistakes, like De Gea or Blind (imagine playing Romero, Rojo…).

    Except for the fact that they will go from five without a win to six. There's no glossing over that.
     
    Don't think Mourinho will play a full-strength side either. My question is if he will take his chances with Carrick in a midfield two.

    City already beat Utd away so I reckon the pressure is more on Utd.
     
    I reckon it's crazy that United are favourites for this. Surely even a weakened City side will be far more likely to play better than this current United team at 'full strength'?
     
    Really hope we play Martial or Rashford in the 9 to face off against stones. Mata has to play too.

    It's a weird game. Both sides will have a point to prove here. City haven't won in a while, and we just got hammered by Chelsea. Also a slight bit of motivation for us due to the 2-1 in the league.
     
    HENRIKH is in the squad. Smalling,rooney, bailley and jones are not.
     
    Just seen the squad players (Valencia and Herrera, usually rested in midweek, are in) and I have no f… idea what Mourinho will try later!

    It would be hilarious if he tried a three-man defense.

    Yep I also heard Pep is planning on giving us all sunshine today but if he doesn't think we are appreciating it he will make it rain!

    Something like this, I'm guessing. Hard to say what we do at CB -- maybe Rojo in there for Carrick, if Smalling and TFM aren't in the squad. Tuanzebe might get a chance. Expecting Mkhitaryan to come off the bench. Mata for Pogba is possible too.

    Interesting that Rooney hasn't been included, lends credence to the rumours that Jose has told him he can leave.

    Not playing Carrick tonight would be such a disappointment. Although I worry how he might deal with City's pressing.
     
    Are we really starting with Blind and Rojo, i know we dont have many options but i trudt neither of them.

    Hopefully they get lots of protection from the midfield.
     
    So either Rojo/Blind or Darmian/Carrick as a CB also. Not sure I like the idea of Rojo or Blind as a right sides CB :nervous:
     
    No Martial but I bet Lingard will start, who will be anonymous for the whole 90 minutes then some people will say he deserves to start because he "puts effort in"
