I'd say there's still a good portion of the fanbase who are supporting ETH and blaming everything else except his management for games like this.

Think everyone can see how shit we are, no one’s actually tolerating it. More whether people blame the manager, the club or the players.

I blame all three. Manager needs to go, but I still don’t trust us to get a good replacement. And then after that I don’t trust these players to ever fecking turn up.

Collyer on and Casemiro off. Right move by ETH. Hopefully he has a good showing and we dont see Casemiro again.

I think they've been really impressive in every game tbh. I expected a fall off with Klopp gone but so far they look arguably better than last season tbh

What annoys me is that Liverpool so easily find the right manager but we struggle when it comes to finding the right manager.

Carragher getting his quote in again  cnut

I said earlier that we need to give Zirkzee time, which we absolutely should. I'm not convinced that he's going to score many goals the way we're playing or the way ETH is using him. From the goal that he scored against Fulham, I expected us to use him in that way. E.g. stick him in the box and just be at the end of chances to get easy tap-ins.

Surprised Zirkzee hasn't come off. Think Ten Hag might be watching a different game

Feels a bit of a pointless sub if it’s like for like and the midfield is still being outnumbered

I'm not that clued up on Zirkzee and haven't watched him barely at all previously, but from the way he is playing I'm not quite sure what type of player he's supposed to be.

He looks like a fairly slow, big number 9 who doesn't play anywhere near goal and can't receive a ball. I don't think Bruno has done him any favours though with some of his passing.

There was no one to pass the ball to without looking. Ugarte would change absolutely nothing to what happened in this half unless he doesn't actually receive the balls that Casemiro received or the other players actually offer easy passing options.

Casemiro isn't good but it's not the issue and no one has been close to good.
You obviously have no idea how Ugarte plays

I’ll give ETH credit for taking Casemiro off at half time and bringing Collyer on, it’s a massive statement but a correct one.

Casemiro is deeper so first to pick up the ball when we get it. Bruno is playing higher up than usual because of this 4222 or whatever it is.

Yeah I get that but so is Mainoo and he's not spamming it

Can't stand these players. The game that means everything to United fans and they amble around the fecking place while they see Liverpool players being ferociously up for it.

In every sense of the cliché, they're not fit to wear their shirt. Years and years of allowing them to humiliate us at our own ground.
It's fecking ridiculous and yet you'll get a select few posters (well one in particular) telling you that Rashford has been great since Christmas and is let down by his teammates (who admittedly are fecking shit, but still.) And ETH needs to go. Enough is enough.

Talking to yourself then. Literally not seen one person say anything near what you said. Perhaps put your glasses on elder.

Maybe get a better stream junior.

Following the crowd is a woke thing

We’ve had trouble with our midfield and front 3 for years. Can’t remember the last time we had a dominant front line. Probably the days of Rooney/Ronaldo and tevez

We should be better able to pass/progress the ball. No excuse this his 3rd season. The list of teams who are better than us on the ball is too long. It's all on him, esp after getting the ball playing GK Onana, licha who is exceptional with the ball, MDL who is supposed to be good on the ball. To add to that there's Dalot and Mazaroui, both very good. It's absolutely on him that we can't progress the ball back to front.

And then the pressing....pathetic without mount.

Like how do Brighton with a new coach play better than us. Villa etc....
I’m not convinced by that argument. The playing out for the back is largely fine even good at times but then individuals like Casemiro are just liabilities. Even for their respective levels I don’t think clubs like Brighton and Villa carry any liabilities in possession.

Contrast Liverpool’s trademark, aggressive, tight pressing and constant chipping away to get the ball off our players; with our limp, lacklustre, failure to press effectively, or put any pressure on their players.
No physicality and no threat to Liverpool in possession, other than us intercepting loose passes or making blocks.

Our front 4 are jogging training cones, allowing the scousers to play out from the back with total ease and they’re up the park attacking our penalty area in an instant, within just a few passes.

Brighton did it last week, just bypass midfield as quickly as possible, when Utd have no midfield presence to oppose you.
We can't get near anyone to make a tackle, is it atletism or not caring enough?

We look much better in midfield with Mount in there because he can actually run, Casemiro and Mainoo both aren’t quick enough so can only play one of them.
We looked better because we had 3 players in midfield instead of only 2.
