He's dropped Maguire, Shaw, Fred and Ronaldo. What are you expecting?I dont mind that lineup, some good decisions with personal, all depends on our shape but Elanga always gives everything and imagine he'll be used more as a wingback to help Dalot and our midfield than an actual forward per say. All the pressure is on Rashford and Sancho to step up.
We do at least have goals on the bench this week that we can bring on if things are going badly.
What about Robertson, TAA and Alison?Elanga was the right choice, Liverpool have struggled with effort and pace in behind so far this season.
Think both Bruno and Eriksen is the wrong decision as leaves midfield far too light.

I remember so so many posts about how we have finally got a high quality RW when we signed Sancho. Right from the transfer rumours to actual signing, he was apparently a RW among the fans, who had seen everything at Dortmund and were convinced he was the real deal.
I even jokingly put up a post saying he will come here and in first interview say he loves LW.
And suddenly after signing, he was a LW. I don't know if they were the same posters, but many posted it as an obvious fact that he was a LW.
It is definitely adventurous.Few calls for tonight:

- a Liverpool player will be sent off
- there will be three goals in this gameAgree with dropping both Maguire and Shaw. Not sure as to why Elanga is starting though, would much rather have seen Garnacho.
Elanga is trash and has no future here. He could have at least given Garnacho a go.They're going to target McTominay. I have 0 confidence with us coming away with a result with him in there.That midfield makes me very uneasy, none of them can follow runners and that Liverpool attack has the long term understanding to run circles around them.The danger man is Diaz.

We must not be bullied by their midfield and Robertson .May have missed this but why is the analysis right now not happening at the gantry or where they normally would be? Protest related?It is okay to drop your captain, if you do not think, he has been good enough. But I think there would be better games to try something new in the defence.

He looks very eager to go to ground, which will be really concerning vs Salah, so I hope he can handle the atmosphere and massive leap in opponent and not get reckless as he’ll get himself sent off if not.
Caf likes nothing about the club currently.Midfield is a bit soft but we didn't have any alternatives really. We'll need everyone to work their socks off today.
I really hope we keep it tight and play a bit deeper to avoid conceding any early goal. The more the game goes on the more we'll gain confidence and maybe get something out of the game.
