    Expected a third midfielder instead of Greenwood otherwise it’s the team I expected.
     
    How we can leave Pogba and Sancho out of the team is absolutely crazy.

    What is his fecking obsession with McFred.

    This 100% , however if … they drop back and give McTominay and Fred options to pass then it’s not a bad team
     
    That's a well below full-strength Liverpool team. Fabinho missing out is particularly big.

    Happy to see Konate as he wasn't particularly good any time we played Leipzig.

    Pogba's definitely leaving on a free again, isn't he? :(
     
    Probably not the game to go with a wildly different formation. With Fabinho missing their midfield is definitely weaker too, which is a bonus for us.

    Lindelof and Varane are quick enough and can do it. You’re right about the keeper. We can’t press without a high line and you can’t play with a high line with a keeper who doesn’t sweep up behind the defenders.
     
    Clearly Ole is not going for the element of surprise. Very predictable line-up. Not sure if that is good. I would have liked to see a curve ball. Let's see what happens.
     
    11/11, not that makes me happy in the slightest. Pool look a bit underpar, which seems to happen to use all the time this season - so many games where the oppo is missing their key players.
     
    Let’s hope that McTominay actually does something positive today. Big ask I know.
     
    I have to say their midfield looks quite underwhelming with Fabinho out. An ageing Henderson and Milner along with Keita who's been a bit crap.

    Delighted that Rashford is fit to start, I can see him causing TAA a far bit of grief.
     
    Same team that got hammered in the first half vs Atalanta before changes were made and we brought on Pogba, Sancho and Cavani came on?

    We where much better with Pogba and Cavani in that game.

    Also the 1 game we bet Liverpool last year was when we played Pogba in midfield

    Besides McFred, not a fan of having Greenwood and Rashford in the team. Both a bit too similar, need someone to provide service for Ronaldo; would have picked Sancho.

    But lets see what Ole has planned for this, huge game for him.

    Possibly/Probably. Our front free looks juicy if we have the ball and are on the counter, but off the ball the work rate to press and track back will almost be non existent so our midfielders will probably be isolated again.

    If you're playing away and you have the players who can do that then fair enough but we aren't playing away from home and we know we can't defend with those two.

    This team got ripped to shreds by Atalanta.
