    No Fabinho or Mane is a huge boost here though I'd still have preferred 3 in midfield to match theirs.
     
    So - and no surprise here - Ole hasn't learnt from Wednesday. Gone with the same XI who started against Atlanta...

    only question is will Salah score before Jota or the other way round...

    Sancho going the way of VDB, manager is clueless on how to use him so just gives up and leaves him on the bench after spending good money on him.
     
    That's an uninspiring team. With Liverpool's starting lineup, I can see this game being a draw.

    bit risky though, konate Has barely played and VVD - matip are quite solid. We should target him.

    I mean come on, they had 3 chances all game, one was a set piece and one was due to Lindelof being a pussy

    Even before halftime we had enough chances in that game to score at least 3 ourselves

    That is what is surprising, he saw what a weakened Atalanta did to this team.
     
    Would have loved to see Cavani starting. That bench is just mad...and that's still without Martial, Varane and Diallo. Not even a sniff for Mata anymore.

    For me it's more the case of why did we buy Sancho if it was to just bench him?

    We've been crying out for a right winger for the last 2 years. Finally get a world class prospect and he's fallen victim to the bench.
     
    Fernandes better actually be fit and not just using him when he isn't ready like Ole's done his whole time here.
     
    If we show up we can beat this lot, but we rarely do and that is cause for worry with our line up.

    Neither has been effective enough recently. But it is not as if McFred are much better apart from their workrate.

    And you realise Sancho has started loads of games?
     
    I don’t mind Sancho not playing currently. I feel he needs a big moment to give him a bit more belief and he has more chance of that coming off the bench IMO. Also can’t drop Rashford, he’s two in two and Greenwood has probably been our best player (who’s not Ronaldo) this season.

    He's being benched way more than he should be for a player of his calibre and price tag.

    Yes I do realise it's the 9th game and that's the exact reason why we don't have time to waste because we could be out of the title very soon.

    Weird buy. I think Ole prefers direct players, that’s why he doesn’t use VdB and Sancho.
    It shows us that Ole is not buying players, but he is not saying no either I think !
