Why do I feel like Lukaku will score a jammy goal and that'll be the only goal in this match?

I wish that Sourness would stop saying that "there are no obvious weaknesses in this Liverpool team"

Yeah, Barcelona and Real are kicking themselves that they missed out on Henderson and Milner
well, Real this season probably wish they had them!

In addition to everything going on, Young has been dreadful. Our captain....

    Our captains normally suck.
Rooney was LVG's man. He sucked, big time.
Valencia started well, but gradually went downhill. He was Jose's captain.
This season, Ole has made Young, captain and he really should be on the bench.

One issue is that if Young were on the bench, who would play in his place? An untested teenager from Portugal?

McTominay has been good today, in spite of the nonsense prior to kick off.

Our entire game plan has been ripped up after fifteen minutes due to crazy injury circumstances. It happens. I think we’ve defended well considering the disturbance.

 These injuries are hilarious. It was a rookie mistake to bring on Lingard, incredibly risky. Ole will learn from this.

They know they have all the power now. We have nothing more to bring on so can take their time/tire us out by making us chase the ball.

This is where we need a 'park-the-bus' mentality of just holding shape and not chasing

Possibly yeah. Although I think I’d like to see us try and snatch a couple of goals early in the second half.

I'd be shocked if we pull anything out of this. Only thing I'd criticize Ole for is putting Lingard in ahead of Sanchez, was always risky. But still, cant account for so many injuries. Despite all that, I'd say we look the better team. Shouldve had a goal. Will be hard though, you'd imagine they improve loads in the 2nd half against our depleted side.

Exactly. He seemed fine until he went round the keeper. I’d imagine he hurt himself at that stage.

I wonder whether he even did a warm up?
As Neville pointed out he wasn't closing down or running around like he normally does

I'm surprised at some of the criticism here. We don't have a right back, we're missing two thirds of the midfield, the majority of our attackers are now injured too and this is against a team who will either win the title or come a very close second. The players are working their arses off, have restricted Liverpool to very little and arguably had the better opportunities.

some real crappy luck with injuries. Still 0-0 and all to play for. The squad players have to show what they are made off and sanchez has the opportunity to show the class we know he has but has been missing since he moved from Arsenal. Keep it tight and a chance will come, jessie was a tiny fraction from scoring or winning a penalty with that neat move.
    Hope rashford is ok.

Hamstrings aren’t anything the docs can assess. It’s a feel injury that the player has to decide when it’s okay. Nothing you can do if he says he’s good to go. Doesn’t show up on any sort of test.

I disagree, it’s not that simple. Yes a test won’t show a result. But there’s mountains of scientific data out there to support these situations. Its not just “hey can you play?” “Yep”. Job done. There’s plenty of data, and work that can be done to help facilitate these calls. Hamstring pulls or tears don’t fully recover in 10 days. And importantly it’s not binary - muscle injuries occur over time and need time to recover from. 10 days simply isn’t enough. A pull happens because the muscle is strained. It’s a process to recover and medical staff have a history of data and experience to know that 10 days isn’t sufficient.

Injures forcing changes from Ole didn't stop people from saying we were tactically outclassed by PSG despite the score being 0-0 at the time of the injuries.
But that’s because we were completely nullified even with Lingard and Martial on. But today we have stifled Liverpool’s attack completely

Fecking nightmare game. Hopefully we get no more injuries...

He won the ball back and started our counter attack that ended with the lingard chance
He didn’t win it back, a deflected cross/pass fell into his path and then his pass wasn’t great. Lukaku had to stretch to keep it, while holding off the defender. Hardly a glowing reference.

fair enough! didn't spot it.drowned out by the haters maybe
No one was hating on him, he actually got some credit. That’s the thing, people make out there’s an agenda, but people will generally say what they see.
