But it's been very stop start, and I hope we can labour to a point at the very least.

Liverpool don't worry me really, it's more our injuries and occasional short passes.

I think we've been performing admirably in the circumstances. We completely nullified Liverpool in attack and could be ahead.

How do we even know it is the same injury? Medical staff will have assessed and passed him to play.

I get it people are blaming Ole for bringing on Lingard instead of Sanchez but if Lingard was on the bench, meaning they felt he could play some part, if not the full 90’. I rather see Ole favouring Lingard over Sanchez as an indication of how little he rates Sanchez and how ambitious Ole still was and confident about getting a win despite the injury crisis. He must have thought Lingard was a bigger threat for us than Sanchez. Too bad it didn’t work out but I honestly think it was a very bold (and positive) gamble.
