Hojlund invisible but what can the kid do? Progressing the ball up the pitch seems absolutely impossible for this team, let alone actually creating a chance ffs.

Had we worked the Leicester goalie a few times it wouldn't be AS bad, but everything feels flat, the team, the crowd, the vibe.
We’re in a vicious cycle now where the heads drop (team and fans alike) after a goal and we can’t get motivated.

We are probably the most boring team I've watched all season and I've watched my local tier 8 side play more entertaining football this shite.

To think I used to make excuses for reasons I couldn't go to all sorts of work and family functions just to watch United.

It's clear to anyone with the IQ above that of a carrot that this system doesn't work with these players. Amorim's got to stop being so stubborn and arrogant. he needs to adapt... I'm not sure he's capable of that though

im completely numb. i feel nothing at all watching United, which is something i never thought would happen. even rage in the past used to be some sort of reaction.

I was passively watching. Did we create a single chance? Half chance?
Careful now, you get any more passive and Ruben will have you on his coaching staff.

On a lighter note I cannot unsee Mel Gibson when I see Roy Keane now, it’s uncanny.

It gives a whole new meaning to him ranting about Passion.

This fecker is sacking himself putting a left wingback on the right

It's worrying that he can't see the things that are not working. Bruno struggles in midfield yet he's starting every game there. Dalot struggles playing as a lwb and you just bought a lwb and play him on the right? Amad plays better as a rwb and he only plays him there when he's forced to do so.

Whether you like or don't like Amorim, this is unacceptable. If these performances continue, he is not going to be there next season. He just can't.

He really has to change the system, at least until he gets the players he needs. This is absolutely dire. RVN had us playing much better than this.

I question this system ever working even if he even gets amazing wingbacks. It's just a mess on so many levels.

Our “best” chance was a ball falling to Dorgu on his right foot 20 yards out. We’ve not even had a half chance really.

Liar, Jorgensen almost scored an OG on a corner.

Bruno deeper takes away a lot of attacking threat which is important for a team that doesn't create much. Personally, I've not really seen the logic in playing Kobbie as a no.10.

He has struggled a bit defensively covering spaces but the set up is asking a lot out of anyone. I think he's a CM and some tweaks to tactics can mask any athletic limitations he might have.

As much as lot of people were clamouring for Kobbie to be in the 10, we're forgetting that he was very good in CM last season and that was playing in a wide open midfield as well. Similarly for England he was good at the Euros playing in CM, albeit playing alongside Rice and Bellingham.

there was never any need for this. mainoo and ugarte were doing ok when they started playing together.

There is no excuse for the manager.

We've beaten leicester 4 times in a row with 2 different managers.

The latest two wins coming by a total of 8 goals.

Its clear as day that the formation is causing us all kinds of problems.
Exactly and now he plays inverted wingbacks. Play the left footer on the left and the right footer on the right. Get some crosses whipped into the box!

Our “best” chance was a ball falling to Dorgu on his right foot 20 yards out. We’ve not even had a half chance really.
That was lovely play from Amad to find him with the backheel.
That time Hojlund managed to turn and run with it really showed the issue our attack have, he had like 4 players round him and Amad had 2 and there was no one else with them so the move just stalls.

?Sigh I just hope we don't get relegated. This season is gone.

It is not out of the world looking at how the second Leicester team beat our first team with ease. We the worse team in the league.

All he needs to do is switch the full backs and we'd created like 10x the chances. If he comes out playing Dalot on the left and Dorgu on the right, we've lost this tie and i'm switching off immediately. Fecking joke.

A cup is the only chance of any success or qualification to Europe for us. Losing in either one isn't as important as how we lose - there will be a point where I think his position becomes untenable, as in, he won't get to see out the season if we're this bad throughout.

No sane board will back a manager with 100's of millions if they've lost faith in him and what he's doing.
He’s got the same players Ten Hag had, they were already failing miserably, and now they’re playing a new formation and trying to work out who’s good enough.. there’s no way they get rid of him after a few months, it would be absolute madness

he's been on the 18yd line picking the ball up from the CB's for some reason
He was at that shite last Sunday also. He seems to be allowed to do what he wants, just like Dalot actually
    Portuguese thing obviously

Long gone are the days when a poor first 45 would be followed by a ferocious second half. I wouldn’t be surprised if we came out and played even worse.

Well…..how utterly shit was that again.

I like Amorim but it’s madness to keep playing like this week in and week out. Please just have a go for once.

It's like watching fecking soccer aid. They understand the concept of football, but they look like they've never actually taken part in anything more competitive than a casual kick about in the garden
