Discussion Your Lineup Prediction

  • Why we can’t play Garnacho as right winger/amc if left footed RWB is a must? I kinda get it - Amad was deadly with his underlapping inside runs. Garnacho could keep width and have all space he needs. He can beat his man with kick and run and provide an early cross/make a cut back with his right foot. Dorgu would naturally provide width on the left.

    No shot on target, again

Yet we didn't try and get a fecking striker/yet won't promote the youth

My opinion of ineos is not positive at this point

I’m watching through the itv x app and the subtitles are stuck on.

It was annoyingly distracting at the beginning but now I’m grateful for it.

It’s the little things you’ve got to be grateful for.

0-3 in shots on target. We just don’t create anything, ever
I would love for someone to point to something we try over and over i.e. a tactic, to get the ball into a more advanced area other than long balls out to WBs and the CF.

We are absolute masters of pinging it along the back 5 and then probing into the CMs before repeating that over and over.

?Sigh I just hope we don't get relegated. This season is gone.

Starting to have enough of Amorim. This set up is complete and utter wank.
No excuses for the team though. Pretty much everyone has been crap out there.
Also props to our new owners for doing sweet feck all in the transfer window. Except for getting that kid who needs to learn how to control a football first.

Opposition full backs must have the easiest time of their lives when they play us, we never have runners going into the box to give there back line anything to think about.

All that hard work to reach the 4th round away to Arsenal with ten men for an hour is going to waste tonight and worst of all Leicester has been as rubbish as United have been in that 1st half.

Hes a yoro who I'm guessing is better in a 4. He's Bruno who I don't know wheres he's playing Mainoo same Ugarte is covering 2 players and as for the front man he's not had the ball .. its bloody rubbish we played better v Palace on weekend and lost. Its just error after error . And the Abus are sharpening there pencils ready for the headlines Rudd wins etc against guy who got rid etc etc..

    This lot are poor .

That was an absolute shambles . Dorgu on the left and Amad on the right, please for the love of God.

Come on, Can we stop blaming the players
Can we stop playing these stupid negative formation?
This is all on this stubborn Manager.
This is so embarrassing and unnecessary.
What is the point of this rubbish football?
You're aware how it was under the past number of managers?

The players are so cowardly, always picking the easy pass sideway or backwards. No ambition in passing or taking players on apart from Amad and Dorgu.
It’s not the players, there’s nothing happening ahead at all. Sideways and backwards is all they have, and don’t get me started on the gaps.

Im sorry as well but playing 3 central defenders at Old Trafford against Leicester is just negative. You are immediately taking a player out of the attack because of it. Then you have another two wingers in defence too. Its crazy.

    Players look completely demoralized.

We lose this and there has to be change.
It’d be fine if the two wing backs pushed right up instead of dropping back to back 5.

Three CB’s and Ugarte should be all we need at the back, with Bruno and the WB’s helping out a bit.

Yeah, I love Amorim as a person, but really what are we trying to do here? There's no clear tactic beyond the CBs passing it between themselves, there's no effort to pass forward, there's no urgency...feels I've been wondering this the past ten years but really fellas - what the feck do you do all week if this is the end product? It defies explanation. WTAF.

The shocking ability to build up anything with pace might be the most alarming thing for me.

None of these CB’s have any confidence to play through the lines consistently, and neither of the CM’s will turn and drive with the ball. As well as a striker that’s a backboard. So just double up on Dorgu/Amad flank and dare the rest to do something and you stifle us completely.

It makes no sense. A number of times Mainoo had space to turn and drive forward and just passed it backwards. It's not like he's not capable.

Amorim looking less and less like the man with every minute that passes.

He obviously had something about him before he came here, but the Manchester United virus has clearly infected him.

The decision with Dolot/Dorgu alone is utterly incomprehensible
This is so true. We are a virus. We feck up everyone and everything. We are the only club that can’t be a modern club and can’t move on from SAF.

Shocking lack of forward play. Nothing progressive at all. Not even a shot on target by us in the first half.

Seeing as this is a team we've hammered twice this season already, this is not good. Some booing at half time.

I know our forwards have been taking pelters, but there's literally nothing they can do.

90% of the game is played in our own half because we're spending decades playing out of the back so slowly. The balls are literally going out wide, only to circulate to the other side, nothing going through the middle. The only thing currently working is our press.

For the first time, if 343 isn't working for us, then Amorim might need to adapt the shape. We can't simply accept losing games. Its one thing if we were battering the opposition and not scoring. But we're barely getting to their box, and this is game after game at home. Something's wrong.

I'm glad we sacked EtH but at least he knew how to attack. Amorim ball seems to be pass it across the back 5 then back to Onana to hoof up to Hojlund to lose, it's fecking National League standard. Where's the progression? Fast passes? Taking players on?

Fecking he’ll, I’ve had such a shite day… my car got broken into and all the electronics were stolen, had to get a tow to the garage… was hoping for a United win to feel a bit better but looks like the day just keeps getting worse. Not sure it’ll happen but, hope we sneak a win in the second half somehow.
    Sorry to here that Vic.

    That's really poo

We are absolutely diabolical at playing football.

No doubt we'll scrape through, but a better team would already have had this tie wrapped-up.
