Fingers crossed.Trying to sell him to Leeds again??

Why not? Seems obvious given we have to apply the forward press as well as hope to exploit Leeds high defensive line on counter attack. Also makes sense to keep Pogba and Cavani for last 30 minsI've nothing against Dan James, but what the actual feck?
I think we can assume we’ll be trying to sit back and pick them off on the counter. At least we’ll have Greenwood there to come on when it doesn’t work.
Plenty of us hate it.Am I only the one who hate the way they're arranging the names in the tweet according to their number ? They used to arrange them according to their position and it was much better.
And that is press reliant midfield? How many times we've played that this season?
That’s also what I think his thinking is and it makes absolute senseYou were spot on @Offside
Think Ole is thinking about how good James is off the ball, regards energy and the speed he will give us on the counter.
He is much better when he has room and he'll no doubt have that today.
Hope he has a good game!
other than James its exactly what we expected isn't it?
press reliant? We’re playing newly promoted Leeds at home, not Barcelona away, we should be concerned with our style of play not react to every single opponent
VdB must not be doing it for the manager
You Ole obsessives are happy dropping our good players to play work horses?Wise the feck up
No, I think they probably are.You realize who said this are probably arent the same who said these, right ?
Why bother watching then?Looks like our OT winless run will carry on
Oh yeah because they are definitely the same people.Last season, Ole picks a consistent side for week after week.
Meeehhh, it's shit, too predictable, sack him now, rubbish.
This season, Ole changes starters often.
Meeeeehhh, it's shit, no consistency, sack him now, rubbish.
Jesus Christ.
No, I think they probably are.
We're not playing Sheffield either. This has been our most consistent midfield this season, so it's not like we are really adjusting to opponent.press reliant? We’re playing newly promoted Leeds at home, not Barcelona away, we should be concerned with our style of play not react to every single opponent
You Manchester United haters would love to see the team lose. You Ole obsessives are happy dropping our good players to play work horses?
And I suppose you do? That argument goes both ways.Nice, didn't know you have a record of what everyone has said here.
We don't do that here, against any teams.This. Always dictate the tempo against newly promoted clubs, especially if you have serious designs on a top four finish.
And I suppose you do? That argument goes both ways.
Such a boring response to a fair complaint. You enjoy the defensive football and top 4 battles? Have at it. I want to actually see us progress. You Manchester United haters would love to see the team lose.
What's an Ole obsessive? And how can you tell someone is an Ole obsessive and not simply a United fan?Such a boring response to a fair complaint. You enjoy the defensive football and top 4 battles? Have at it. I want to actually see us progress.
Ole is not Manchester United. You Ole obsessives don’t seem to realise that.
I mean we clearly are progressing and we have to rotate, we will win today, relax.Such a boring response to a fair complaint. You enjoy the defensive football and top 4 battles? Have at it. I want to actually see us progress.
Ole is not Manchester United. You Ole obsessives don’t seem to realise that.
I'd have to disagree to be honest, in terms of actually being able to play through a press - they spend far more time recyling the ball around the back six, so while they may not immediately get caught in possession, the back six as a whole has to absorb far more. They're our best against it no?
I mean, Matic+Pogba crumbles against high pressings, as does Matic or Pogba plus any one of Fred, McT or VDB. The case of VDB is more on to lack of defense support.
Fred+McT are fine as long as they have each other as covers against high pressings and man-to-man.
