Bollox to that so. Off to find a riverIt looks like its on Premier Sports 1 in Ireland
But then throws Bruno in for the bantsETH realising how important Eriksen is in helping us control games.
What kids?Im suprised he has fielded such a strong starting line-up in this one, I thought he would have the kids out for it.
So give him 30 minutes off the bench after 3 starts, maybe? He’s in good form
I should have rephrased it to say he didn't play the full 90 like others. Not really enough to say he got rested but tiny bit better than the others who had to play full game. Hopefully we can take a comfortable lead and take him off early this time.He played 75 mins which isn’t really being subbed off early. Played similar amount of mins in his first appearance of the season against Southampton. He was shattered by when he came off against Palace which is understandable after playing the full 90 against Barnsley in midweek.
If he’s capable of playing about 70-75 mins again which he’s done and performed well than the likes of Bruno then I ain’t gonna argue with that.
I’m not sure it matters. Let him start and bring him off. We shall see.So give him 30 minutes off the bench after 3 starts, maybe?
Spurs mate of mine called it when it said Ericson can be class for 5 games and poor for 8.He’s in good form
Fecking Disney+ has this game, where I live. I guess I'm buying a months subscription to go along with the Amazon Prime I bought to watch the Southampton game. Vultures.

Denmark. And where is that exactly? If I was wondering for some hypothetical friend who may or may not have a VPN?
I don't think he has the best of relationships with Casemiro and so is quite happy not to use him if he has a fit and in form Eriksen instead. I suppose Mainoo could have started but he has looked like he needs to have his minutes managed judging by his tendency to fade in the second half of games. We don't want to be running our best young talent into the ground whereas with Eriksen it is a case of squeezing out one more season before tossing him out the door on a free. All the players need game time. I'm not sure why Ten Hag has picked Eriksen for three consecutive matches.
Because Eriksen probably won’t be starting again for a bit I imagineAll the players need game time. I'm not sure why Ten Hag has picked Eriksen for three consecutive matches.
We need to find a young player with the qualities and style of Eriksen in his prime. One player who comes to mind is Pedri from Barca. To me it seems Ten Hag knows our football to click relies on Eriksen.
I only put Kone in there simply because I was struggling to name a full 12 substitute bench so went with any young player that never played last night against Doncaster. It's always amusing to see his name come up. Honestly, there's a better chance of seeing Malacia, Wheatley, or Amass on the bench before him. Do people really expect a player who's only played in Mali in his career till now to make a direct jump into Manchester United's senior lineup?
Also, he would have been playing for the u-21s yesterday if he was anywhere near match fit enough to play.
Agreed. I mentioned it before but this should be a priority in the summer. Signing a younger version with the same attributes. To me it seems Ten Hag knows our football to click relies on Eriksen.
Goal and couple of assist incoming…Dont like to see Bruno again, our weak link
I actually have a different perspective. Based on what I have seen so far, Eriksen appears to be our best midfielder. considering his age and the physical demands of the season, its crucial to manage his playing time carefully. We should give him more rest and take the opportunity to develop our best young talents by giving them more regular game time.I don't think he has the best of relationships with Casemiro and so is quite happy not to use him if he has a fit and in form Eriksen instead. He was never going to make it into the squad for this game though. If he was, we would have already heard reports or seen him training with the first team. We are quite a bit away from that.I only put Kone in there simply because I was struggling to name a full 12 substitute bench so went with any young player that never played last night against Doncaster.
Of course he will be in the youth squad for the time being along with Ob-Martin once that has been announced but don’t be surprised to see either of them on the bench for the 1st team soon especially when you consider our continuous bad luck with injuries.
