Discussion Your Lineup Prediction

  • Wow.. no Højlund or Zirkzee. Could turn out to be a great call by Amorim

If this works, it's our best lineup (though I'd have preferred not playing Maz at wing back). Garnacho as the number 9 I assume. Hopefully that means Nacho is staying too. Looking forward to seeing more of Mainoo in that lam role.

Be interesting who’s actually up front. I’d go Garnacho. Amad and mainoo behind. Bruno next to Ugarte

I like that Amorin is trying this, getting so little from the 2 forces this on him.

Garna upfront. I like this line up. He’ll make those runs Højlund zirkzee don’t. Just hope it’s not Bruno up as no.9 . Bruno in CM with Ugarte and Mainoo and amad in no.10 sounds exciting

Why do we need two GKs on the bench? Wouldn’t it be better to put an additional outfield player there?

Pretty damning for both Hojlund and Zirkzee. They have the ST role to share between themselves and no one gets selected.
Clear message from Amorim - you're shit, either perform or feck off in the summer.
Exciting times - no more "my captain shall always play", "we love rashy" with rashy being starter despite 10 dreadful performances in a row, and so ln...

Amad through the middle? He continues the Messi regen career

Garnacho Amad and mainoo as the front three presumably. With maz and Dalot at WB, against palace at home?

Might seriously have to start calling Amorin the Portuguese Southgate. Zero risk.

Garnacho at ST? Didn't see that coming. Fair play to Garna, he has taken Amorim's criticisms to heart and won him over.

By Jove, he's done it! No "striker" striking! The point man could be any of Bruno, Garnacho or Amad, or, they could alternate.

This will be interesting, as will who he picks to come on from the two central attackers he's decided to drop rotate.

So refreshing to see, I hope we can get some solid results and Amorim can continue his culture change at the club, its long overdue

No centre forward... neither Rasmus nor Zirkzee in the starting XI: weird... Been saying for a while to try Garno down the centre, maybe this is the day. Bloody annoying we're not on telly.

Please please please can we not make Will Hughes look like Mark Hughes

    Hmmm maybe it will line-up?

    Ugarte - Bruno
    - - - Mainoo - - -
    Amad - Garnacho

Or maybe Bruno/Mainoo switch, but after the mid-week games I can't see Mainoo not starting in one of the no.10's

    Interesting.

Can't really complain at neither zirkzee or Hojlund starting, though I don't think Garnacho can do the role. Mainoo probably will take the target/hold up duties I guess.

Damning message to bench both the strikers
