Discussion Your Lineup Prediction

  • I think mine has gone up in smoke after that match.
    Guys your both right, we as fans can see the obvious even with this squad;

    1. Drop the Goal Keeper, Play Bayinder tell Onana in the press why he’s dropped.
    2. Stop Playing Dalot and Mazroui/Mallacia as your two wing backs, none of them can attack with the quality a side like United need.
    3. Always Start Amad or Garnaucho as one of the wing backs to give us width and an attacking threat.
    4. Our best back 3 was Mazroui, MDL and Martinez, now Martinez is injured let’s hope Luke Shaw is fit asap and he can rotate MDL/Mazraoui and Maguire for the other two spots.
    5. Dorgu or Garnaucho on the left Amad on the right basically he must use any 2 of these 3 options with Dalot also rotated.
    6. We have no creativity in midfield, right now he needs to start Mainoo/Eriksen as one of the 10’s, Bruno as the other and Garnaucho or M Tel if we sign him start at number 9 if Garnaucho not playing as a wide wing back.

Hojlund and Zirkzee need to be told the truth, neither game suit the EPL and they have until the end of the season to save their United career.
    7. Promote some of our promising youth to the bench, especially attacking options like Chido and Biancheri when he comes back from injury.

8 We should never have let Wheatley and Gore go out on loan they are currently better bench options than we have and Ely Harrison would be a better number 2 than Onana..

    9. I seriously wonder about Amorim’s back room staff, I saw the other day his assistant coach who is 29 trying to talk to Casemiro, 4 years his senior and a player whose won 5 CL trophies, I honestly think Amorim needed to go be successful with another EPL team like Brighton , West Ham or Wolves.

10 . The last time the English press built up a new Portuguese Wonder Coach, Chelsea took the bait and then Spurs. Andres Villas Boas

    His record for Chelsea
    P39 W19 D10 L10
    His record for Spurs
    P43 W23 D9 L10
He actually got 72 points and an average of 1.89 points per Spurs in 2012/13 season

And yet he was sacked, he’s currently 48 and unemployed. But he was the next Jose with a new tactical system. Ruben is our second Portuguese Coach and personally I preferred Jose Football to this negative rubbish, every Iberian Spanish or Portuguese coach in the EPL have far more experience and more importantly are far more flexible, Man United are far too big a club for the new Rookie on the block to be learning his craft

Today 5221 formation with Kobbie as false 9 and still you guys defend him, look he could be a great coach in time, but right now he’s making an awful lot of mistakes and the fans will soon start to change!

Plus he’s not getting 72 points next season and 5th place even if we invest £250m into the squad to buy his players!

The reality is we should not be losing to Palace at home—regardless of whatever excuses the manager or the press try to feed us.
Definitely shackled at the moment with the setup. I can understand a manager wanting to put his approach on every aspect of play, and that doing so will take time, also delayed whilst he personally sees with his own eyes certain things we already knew about the players.

Unfortunately it's going to take a long time to bring in players capable of what he wants to do. And even then, what's the guarantee we end up with the guile, will and firepower so player dependent to consistently win in the PL with his setup.

We have a few decent players, but the setup is so unnatural to our batch that talented individuals will struggle.

And I'm someone who is a big fan of 3 at the back formations!

If he played 3-5-2 and accepted releasing the ball into channels and encouraging runs from his strikers to stretch the play, we'd probably be doing better. (Today's final 30 minutes 2 up top was hampered by their absolute lack of desire to run beyond defenders)
