Ten Haag doesnt change teams unless he's forced to. I expect one or two changes max.

I said it should be an incentive. If the players are going to be moaning about having to play, they should be motivated to want to get the job done early so that the manager can hook them as early as possible.Have you watched us this season? If we go with that plan then our first team will be on the pitch for at least 80 minutes as we’re certainly not getting the job done early. We’ll be lucky to finish the game two goals up, never mind doing that by halftime.
Our top players played more than any other player after the WC, and the players look tired even now.
I will be pissed if we do not rest out best players this match. PL and UCL should be prio this year.
No, you don't understand, we must go all out every single game all the time, rest no one ever, even in Mickey Mouse cups, so that we can complain about our bad luck with injuries after that.
I agree, though if you look at the injuries... that argument only holds for Shaw, Varane and Martinez (I thought the same). Wan Bissaka and Dalot were rotated pretty evenly, Malacia didnt play more than squad player minutes, amrabat, hojlund, Mainoo, amad and mount weren't here (and reguilon now if hurt). Martinez had a freak injury imo, Varane has his usual muscle injury, Shaw is match overload on his leg due to previous injury. Bad luck moreso.Play the kids. I have no doubt one of the main reasons we have so many injuries currently is because we played our strongest team in every bloody (cup) game last season.
We won the Mickey Mouse cup recently, winning it again will hardly mean anything. Focus on league and CL games.
Don't really understand the logic behind heavy rotation and using youngsters. We are much more in need of consistency, gelling the team, and stringing wins together than resting players.
Some real dross playing for United that night.I still remember that last Palace 2-1 win. Their winner was absolute peach.
Exactly! So, "playing the kids" or "resting everyone" clearly not an option then.
I didn't say some players shouldn't be rested, that's just common sense. But starting a whole new XI is just ridiculous. We're only six league games into the season and we're not at 100% anyway so they all need the runout anyway. No but resting some keyplayers is necessary - the match on saturday is more important than this. I would rest 3-4 players
Would like to see Amrabat starting and Garnacho. Pellisrti on the right wing. I’d also like to see the new sub goalkeeper starting but ten Hag played de gea in almost every game last season so I can’t see Onana not starting. Is E. Fernandez injured? Hasn’t seen him mentioned as a potential starting left back.
Enjoy!! Hope you get to see at least a few first teamers. This is going to be my first visit to Old Trafford, circumstances could have been alot better but I can’t wait!
