One more thing I like about Pellistri.

When he does cut inside, he's always looking for a pass, not a dumb ass shot that goes on the stands like our other right winger.
He's a more traditional wide player. He doesn't seem comfortable taking on a shot with his weak foot when it's not on to take it with his strong foot. So naturally he looks to pass it inside with his strong foot

    Great from Pellestri!

I’ve been on this forum for 16 years now, I’ve never seen a poster post any moment or goal from any given match on demand. He’s without a doubt a huge loss to the forum. Just because his opinions or posts rubbed some up the wrong way, isn’t a reason to lose the huge upside he offered. I swear some of you would have needed therapy if you saw the likes of Pert or Weaste post back in the day.
    Ciderman was a big loss

Would be fascinated to see the distance covered stats tonight, Palace must be at some sort of record chasing low, space has been wild.

Well what an enjoyable 90 mins that was. More of the same over the course of the season now please.

I'd start him over the current Rashford.
I feel that Rashford would have had a field day against this Palace defence. Garnacho could have run at them more. He's played a little too safe for me. Remember Garnacho started the first two games on the left and was our worst player in both games.

Surprised with the Pellistri praise. He did not do well tonight.

Well done to everyone! Enjoyed that

I've been here long enough to remember Weaste! And it shouldn't be a case of looking the other way because someone occasionally stops posting shite for long enough to put up a short-lived video clip.

Not sure. He does not put in the work unlike Garnacho

    Perfect win.
    Bruno, rashford rested completely
    Clean sheet
Minutes for Varane, amrabat, maguire, mount
    Young lads got a run
    Goal for martial

Garnacho reminds me of the young Ronaldo. Beats a man but thats not enough, has to do it again. Doesn't know when he has won.

The Caf is a weird place.
We have Antony who runs his socks off all game with very little attacking output and gets slammed.
Contrary to this we have Rashford with lots of attacking output but doesn’t work his socks off and gets slammed.
    There’s no pleasing everyone.

Oh trust me, half the hate for Antony is due to his price. If he was an academy player people wouldnt be so harsh on him.

For 100m euros we need more than effort.

Don't know what you lot had against Facundo.

He had a really good game on that right flank. Linked up well with Dalot.
It seemed like most of our attacking play was going down the right. We should have created more clear cut chances though. We kind of wasted our dominance from that perspective, and I can see why people might (unfairly) blame Pellistri for that, seeing as he was doing most of the running.

Pellistri came to life the last 10 minutes was very passive before that. Definitely a shy player. Got the talent though if he bulks up a bit. Amrabat was a major plus and Casemiro was class. Martial and Garnacho goals will do them both good also and nice cameo from Gore.

Happy tonight and although the weekend will be a lot harder we should still win.
