Lingard is the most creative of the 4, which is kind of tragic. Lots of pace but no space to use it. Kind of feel one of Pereira or Mata should have been on the pitch at all times last 2 matches.Despite everything, we will win this. Scrappy 2-1 win would be nice. I went with 4-0 prediction

We had an average team that lost 1-2 at home to palace(I was there)It's almost as if continually fielding players that don't have enough creative output or are better suited to a counterattacking system isn't conducive to beating a side that sits back and defends. We're Manchester United playing at home. Logic would dictate that Crystal Palace (and most of our opposition this season) are going to park the bus and looking for an opening, yet we persist with a system that's clearly a square peg in a round hole. This was obvious before the match even started.
I don't expect someone like Gomes to descend from the heavens and carry us to Champion's League football, but someone with his skill set surely warrants a spot on the bench. He excels at operating in tight spaces in and around the box which is exactly what we need at the moment. Hell, there was a moment early in the first half where James had the entire penalty area to run into and instead of driving into the box, he put a subpar cross from deep.45 mins to go...let's see what we can do...leep the faith, this is still winnable. Time for Ole to show what he can do with this team.
In fairness - James shot should count as a shot on goal but...I agree our freekicks have been awful.Fluke of a goal for Palace. Maguire out left to cover for Shaw, unlucky. We will turn this around come second half. Just need a bit more composure in front of goal. Come on!!

Lingard is the least Creative of the 4 out there and that is the problem because he needs to be the most Creative.Should we throw Greenwood on?
rashford has been horrible, but martial has been decent. He shot attempt in box led to james great chance, and couldve drawn a red. Overall been lively but he is surrounded by a team of runners in a game against a team sitting deepOk so our option for creativity is a short, weak and aging snail.
Imagine if we had some quick, youthful attackers to bring on. Nothing has changed, and it won't change for a while. We won't turn this around, if anything, Palace will score one more.

Majority of our games this season, until we get better at breaking teams down we're fecked, it's that simple. It's so easy to frustrate us and get the better of us, we've been seeing this exact performance so many times.
