He was good against QPR, who were awful. Apart from that he has been ok, nothing more though.

Opinions, I think he has played well in most games (apart from Westbrom)

Who said we don't have a midfield?
I think the majority of us got the 'Are you sure you want to pick six midfielders' warning when picking our teams this week.

Yes he has been that good, It's amazes me how fans forget how good a player is when ever they're out for a period of time.

I'm not saying Herrera isn't quality. I just don't think he was that great before he got dropped/rested or whatever. We will see though.

He lost his head pretty badly against Leicester towards the end of the match too. Before that though he was solid.

The whole team lost their heads in that game. Anyway like I said opinions.

I don't disagree with you, but Herrera was part of that team and therefore he lost his head. The fact that others did too doesn't really mean anything. But yeah, just my opinion. If he is picked I hope he plays brilliantly.

Am I crazy or are we actually spoiled for choice in midfield, currently?

:D:D AND to top it off we will probably still add to it, AND we have two quality young players coming through too.

Now to sort out the defence!

On the way to the stadium in a few mins, first game for two years...excited

    I've never seen utd lose

Here in the US NBC is electing to show Sothampton -Leicester instead of Utd, that will help ratings. Can anyone recommend a site I don't have to register for that will have the match online?

As for the match itself, going in to a long break I think Utd will be intent on proving themselves worthy top four material, I look for a statement match from Utd.

    Never mind, found it.

Yeah, but it still feels like we play once a fortnight!

This is the fewest games we've played at this point in the season in decades.
We play/played 10 games in 3 months over Sep, Oct, Nov. Ridiculous.

I'm normally pretty nervous about an upcoming match, but for this i'm quite optimistic which is worrying in itself

So Blind at CB with McNair apparently. With Carrick as the DM.

He could be posting any crap, just for the attention.

There no "may" about it, if Blind is playing CB, he would have been working the whole week there, not a last minute decision to play him there.

He was close to the United camp during the pre-season and was right about the line-up in every pre-season match on the tour (Sometimes even 24 hours before a match)

We'll see in a few minutes

thats what you get for no European football and knocked out of a domestic cup in round one, get used to it because the way we are playing the same could happen next season.

That's what I think will happen, Carrick has the flexibility to drop back and make it 3 at the back for periods if needed or to step forward into the diamond.
