Club Brugge's favorite game is playing with a target striker, with fast moving players around him. Belgian newspapers are reporting that both strikers (De Sutter and Oualare) are out for tonights game. Diaby will probably come in. Shouldn't be a big loss. He's quick, strong and scores lots of goals. Only joined Brugge couple of weeks ago though.

It's a shame for Brugge in a way. Gedoz, Isquierdo, Refaelov, Meunier, Bolat, De Sutter, Oulare, Engels are all injured. Everyone on that list would play tonight, lots of A internationals, so Brugge is playing with half a B team.

They aren't in the best shape at the moment. In theory, shouldn't be a problem for Utd. Although, for a few guys in that team, it will be the biggest game of their carreer. I hope Van Aken plays. One of the biggest Belgian talents at the moment.

Our players wil be under enormous pressure. I hope they don't crumble.

Thanks for posting that. Good info for opposition fans to have.

Will be getting up at 4:20AM (:() to attempt to find a stream for this. Do not let me down internet.

Our players wil be under enormous pressure. I hope they don't crumble.
First signs of trouble; Mike starts to munch contentedly on the pitch, Rooney kisses the ref shyly, and Bastian tries out a Men Who Stare at Goats ogle on the Brsh!!!!ugge keeper.

Had a horrible dream last night. Was stuck in traffic on the way to OT, then couldn't find a parking space, then couldn't find my seat. Missed most the first half, we were 0-1 down by the time I got seated, and then RVP scored a second for Brugge to make it 0-2 on the night. Nightmare, but a sign that this is a massive, massive game.

Don't even want to work today, I'm skipping football training tonight as well.

Finally this is back. I've missed being in the champions league.

Finally a champions league match i want to watch, but BT Sport have gone and bought the rights so still won't be able. Or will this be on MUTV?

Hoping for a 3-0 confidence boosting win. I'd feel uneasy taking a 1-0 lead over there for the 2nd leg. Could really do with Rooney and Memphis getting off the mark.

Hopefully we can avoid conceding an away goal as well.

Who will end up on the bench... Carrick, Morgan or Schweini?

Comentry only on MUTV. It is better than listening to the radio though.

The last two matches I went for 2-1 and they were both 1-0. This game I went for 1-0 fully expecting it to end 2-1.

Will never win the game, so going a bit wild...

    Romero

    Rojo
    Evans
    Smalling
    Valencia

    Herrera
    Fellaini
    Schweinsteiger
    Young

    Rooney
    Hernandez

Van Gaal already said that we're under pressure to qualify for the group stages, so I don't think he'll start with Rojo, Fellaini and Hernandez.

    Romero

    Shaw
    Darmian
    Smalling
    Blind

    Schweinsteiger
    Schneiderlin
    Young
    Depay
    Mata

    Rooney

Van Gaal said that apart from the goal Januzaj didn't do enough vs Villa, so I think Young will start instead of him. He also said that we were much better with the substitutions in terms of controlling the game, so Schweiny instead of Carrick seems logical.

Even though Memphis didn't do anything of note in the first two games, he still offers unpredictability, speed and technique and I think Van Gaal rates him very highly. I think he sees in him potentially one of the best players in the world in the future, so it seems like he'll be a regular starter this season.

I also don't think Fellaini will be used much this season, except for when we're struggling and need another option, physicality in attack. Last season Fellaini was a starter because of the ''lack of balance'' in the team, which has been restored with the signings of Schneiderlin and Bastian, so I can't see Fellaini playing instead of them. With the incoming signing of Pedro, I don't really rate his chances of playing further up front either. His current suspension has further complicated things for him, even though he deserves credit for his performances last season. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have gotten that fourth spot, so fair play afro-man!

As for tonight's match, I think we'll win 2 or 3-0. Half of Brugges' team is injured, so things should be a bit easier for us, even though we'll be under pressure to deliver and qualify for the group stages. I think we'll control the match and not give much chances to them to continue our good, solid defensive performances. Hopefully Rooney scores a goal.

God dammit, the Champions League anthems never fails to get me excited. Goosebumps every time.

Like I implied just above, I don't think you'll listen to it tonight. It's not a Champions League game.

At least in the first and second rounds I'm pretty sure you don't listen to it. Games aren't even transmitted with the CL logo. I presume it doesn't change for the play-off round.

Obviously it changes little in the level of excitement of the game. Heck, it's more exciting than group stage matches, as there is a lot more at stake.

    What if we draw?

Uhm it'll definetly be much harder of course if they get an away goal. So it's quite important that we don't concede a goal, specially at this time where we're not creating alot of chances and scoring lots of goals. When that's said, I can't wait for this match to start!

This is our biggest game under LVG, I'm sure he'll get them fired up.

    Comfortable 2-0.

Doesn't look like it's televised tonight. Not on any of the sport channels in the guide.

viktoria Plzen vs Maribor august 2013 had it, so I believe it will
