8 league goals in 88 United league appearances for that United front three. To put that into perspective, Chelsea’s Jackson has 6 in 13 and is seen as the raw, weak link in the team. feck me.
It's a terrible line up that sums up where we're at. And Rashford doesn't improve it.

JFH again, christ, he always talks likes hes never seen either team or any of their players and just spouts the most generic footballing stuff that could attribute to any team / player.

Didn't notice Evans was back. Should be starting over Lindelof if even half fit.

ETH should’ve expelled McTominay from senior squad for underperformance. Instead he starts him like 20th time in a row :(

What does ETH see in him? It should be something than no one else notices.

Doesn't complain, does what he's told. Which is more than you can say for a lot of our stars (Varane, Rashford, Martial, Sancho etc.)

Call me crazy, but I think we've been better of late. Against Copenhagen and Galatasary, I believe we arguably saw our best performances this season. Yes, results didn't go our way, but we looked better as an attacking unit, we controlled the games, and pressed relatively well. Yes, having a ball player in place of McTominay would obviously take us to another level, but recently, ten Hag has asked Bruno to do the ball playing stuff, with McTominay focusing on stretching the opposition defence. It's similar to what we see with Havertz (runner) and Odegaard (playmaker) at Arsenal. Problem is, Bruno is too erratic in possession, at times.
I agree that we have looked better. In possession at least. The problem is that it leaves us way too open defensively because McTominay is so attack minded. Not to mention that, in 2/3s of the pitch, he is often invisible.

Think back to Galatasaray's first goal. Sure, Onana should have saved it, but the free kick was cheaply given away because they had the complete freedom to run straight to the edge of our box with Bruno tracking him across the whole pitch, resulting in a tired foul because of how far he had to track back. There are so many instances of stuff like this and it's due to whoever our 6 is being left with too much work to do defensively.

For now, I think we're better off with two 6s (Amrabat and Mainoo) to shore us up a bit more out of possession, whilst providing a stable base for our front four and full backs to attack. Or adjusting McTominay's role to stay deeper if you're going to play him. Arsenal may get away with a setup like this but I don't think we're equipped to do it ourselves yet.

Big big test for Amrabat. Enzeido are going to run circles around him.

Good bench tonight. If ETH needs to make some changes he has the tools at his disposal.

Ten Hag is really determined to piss Varane off. At least Rashford on the bench.

And Varane isn’t injured people that believe that tripe are dense. He’s just the millionth person ten Hag has chosen to clash with.

Most of them (Ronaldo, Sancho, Rashford) deserved it. Varane was the only questionable one - Ten Hag unncessarily kicked it off by saying he dropped him for tactical reasons before the City game.

Good call to finally drop Rashford. Shame it's taken this long, but better late than never.

Hojlund back fit and other options available making it easier?

He has nothing to do with Hojlund who played for majority of season anyway, and he plays as a striker. Garnacho and Antony were available before too, it literally has nothing to do with other forwards, but only with Rashford's last performance.

    What is the
    What midfield?

What a ridiculous line up and selection. Hopefully ETH and the players prove us wrong, but he's pick a midfield and a formation that would never have crossed my mind.

We all don't know for sure, but for what it's worth but in FM, Mctominay is the one who consistently have high training rating. I'm in 2029 now and he's 32 rarely played him but keep him as a pet.

He has been acceptable, I hope he is at least that tonight.

I think he's been good. The big attriubute of why we supposedly signed him has been undermined massively by the continued absence of the best ball playing defenders, martinez and shaw, and then casemiro who is good at coming to collect. The drop to Lindelof, Dalot and McTominay/Amrabat is considerable.

I think I’ve had enough. McTominay must have something on ETH to still make the starting 11 every game.

I find it tragic that McTominay is a regular starter, and Ten Hag has made loads of questionable decisions. But he started just 10 PL games last year, he’s hardly one of his favourites. We’re just in a dire position unfortunately. You would hardly expect Van de Beek to be less invisible.

Is anyone else having issues on amazon? I have good WiFi on my Phillips tv and the fecker won't load the live games.

    No problem loading movies though
