    And besides, he had no problem fielding full-strength teams in the focking League Cup and FA Cup… where he would've had perfect opportunities to rotate and give the younger players some playing time. But no that wasn't a problem at all… all of the sudden it is.

    What is Mou's damn plan? Is he so egotistical that he's guarding himself for a loss, that he can point it to not being his regular squad?

    Playing on a Sunday and then on a Thursday is no damn different from playing on a Saturday and then on Wednesday, as can happen in the CL.

    Sorry for my frustration, but I'm baffled and can't grasp this. He's already given up despite us not being out of the top-4 yet.

    Chelsea need a result with Spurs breathing down their necks and they will set out to win the game today. But I've got this nagging feeling we're going to turn them over, comfortably.

    We will win today 3-1. I'm certain of it.

    Can people gain a little composure ffs? Enough of the hyperbolic bullshit.

    It is an odd team though. Hopefully it's one of those times when the really weird team selection works when all logic suggests it shouldn't.

    Where did you get the idea we are the underdogs? We aren't.
     
    Is there really no midfielders in the academy who can pick a pass better than Fellaini ffs? We'll need to counter quickly to create any chances and he can't pass it forwards or further than 5 yards.
     
    Lingard, Fellaini , Darmian, and Young in one team selection a Man.Utd team selection seriously? The 4 of them should feck off in a heartbeat.

    This plan only works if we're clinical, which we're not. This game has a draw written all over it tbh.

    And having someone like Fellaini makes the whole counter attacking thing seem kinda pointless, he's slow and slows us down

    Mourinho absolutely loves him. It's completely bizarre.
     
    People keep complaining about Tree and now Young being captain. Now on NBCSN in America, Robbie Earle gives Young flack. Wayne Rooney is our club captain and rightfully so is finally being phased out.

    Our club is being cleaned out and Jose has that responsibility. If Wayne leaves, we will undergo another significant change starting with club captain under Jose.

    Today's match pales in comparison to Thursday and if that fact hurts people, so be it. That's the unfortunate reality and state of this club.

    At this stage, we got nothing to do but to believe in the manager and the team. I don't like this lineup and I certainly don't like parking the bus at OT (if that's what ultimately happens), but what else we could do other than believing?
     
    We might win with that lineup but we mostly won't. It does not work that way. You actually need quality to beat top teams or you lose and we have always struggled against Chelsea even with title winning teams. We will struggle today. Hope it does not end up in another embarrassment.

    I don't see why it shouldn't work, it's a good defensive lineup with a lot of hard workers and good mix between youth and experience.
     
    Ashley Young deserves to be captain. From being almost hated on here by many, he's one who cares about the fans. Just follow him on twitter and instagram and it shows that he's just a down to earth guy so happy to be playing for United and knows how to behave outside football as a United player.

    What, the same Lingard from Manchester who helped us win the FA and League cup? He deserves to be in that team more than the likes of Martial. Maybe you should feck off.

    The state of the line up suggests so, with the EL mind. José should be able to beat Anderlecht at home with a weakened side. We are without far too many of our better players tonight.
     
    I'm more scared of Herrera and rojo jumping into tackles and getting sent off more than anything (though Rojo has been better off late)
