I think Greenwood and Sancho are both lucky to make the cut but ultimately they can't all get dropped.

At least he changes the team and doesn't reward bad performances.

But feck the prediction game

On talent and skillset alone, I think this is the front four we should go to for the rest of the season. Also happy to see Matic in.

Sancho and Greenwood to run the show (wishful thinking)

Wow and no Donny, might as well pack his bags.

Yeah if he can't even get into team with Bruno suspended then writing is definitely on the wall

Absolutely strange from RR! Why no VDB?
Because he’s barely even third choice for every spot in the team and delivers a 6/10 (at best) every chance he gets in an otherwise disappointing result.

I thought Team Donny had left with Ole?

So you're gonna watch Everton attempt to play football for 45 minutes, then switch over to watch United do the same for a another 90?

Have you always been a masochist or is it a new thing?

There was one night during the long lockdown last season and I’d been solidly watching football all weekend. Everton was the Monday night game. Everton Burnley I think. First half was 0-0 and I felt like yeah I’ve reached critical mass here. Second half was much better, finished 3-1 I think but that day I decided to lay off watching the poorer teams just because there’s nothing else on. Anyway fast forward a year and now we are one of the poor teams and I’m counting down the minutes…:wenger:

We better start this game at 100 mph and every single one of them pressing like their lives defend on it.

Looking forward to Greenwood and Sancho. Reckon those two are on the same wavelength.

Varane dropped pisses me off.
Sure he had a bad game, but his other games for us he looked very good. One bad performance and he's dropped? What about Maguire who's been playing shit all fecking season!? I really don't understand this shit and it pisses me off.

It used to be the same with Valencia and Nani. Valencia plays like shit all the time but still gets picked. Nani finally gets a run of games and is immediately dropped after a bad performance.:wenger:

RR has balls, that’s for sure. Marcus benched, Varane and Fred benched, fullbacks changed

I'm glad he's starting AWB, he hasn't been good but he's one of our best ball carriers which is something we lack currently in the side.

Probably more to do with fitness, no? 2 months out so starting 2 games in 4 days might be a little much.

It was his first game after a long injury, three days ago.

Not entirely disappointed with that side. Happy to see Sancho, Cavani, and Greenwood start

I assume Varane isn't "dropped" but he is just getting back and maybe another game so soon is too much

We might be able to fashion something that resembles football with that line up, good stuff. Don't think I've seen such an inept display with 70% possession in the last game.

For Varane it could just be that he's returning from injury and last couple(?) of times he played for us returning from injury he picked up another. I'm guessing we're reintroducing him slowly so he doesn't get injured again.

As bad as he was (and he was terrible), we need to ease him back in given how injury prone he is.

Sure, punish the guy who just came back from injury while the big fridge gets nothing for punishment. Do me a favour.

You don't drop your glorious Captain no matter what.

Especially as he might cry like a baby.

Been out for ages so I'm guessing they don't want him playing two games in just a few days. Makes sense.

Hopefully the performance is better after the last couple.
