I think McNair has done reasonably well, was caught out badly early in the first half that resulted in a de Gea save, but other than that, I think he's been solid. Not being too adventurous going forward with the ball, but I loved to see him take a crack at it early on.

This is the prime example of disbalance in this team. Will LvG ever learn? We have riden our luck enough, now its time to actually improve and show that we are indeed at least a CL material.That 2nd goal changes nothing but the scoreline. Fecking Footballing GodsJust done with this nonsense. Biggest single problem we have is the insistence on playing both RVP and Falcao. One of Herrera or Mata has to come in and add creativity and movement to the midfield. For the second half I'd bring Mata on to play in midfield with Herrera and Rooney, and push Di Maria and Januzaj wider. Leave RVP up front on his own.
