There was also grass on the goal given in the world cup.. that was given because they had overhead pics to show whole of the ball hadn't gone out, so VAR must have the same camera to deem it out . He doesn't know if he needs to hold down R1 or R2.
The curvature of the ball should also be taken into account as per the rules - so it should be also examined from the top via VAR. But in this instance, it was out. It was the right decision.
