You guys need an Arteta style process and phase out the old washed up players. A complete squad overhaul is needed.
Well I don’t mean by age, just out with the old. Like bellerin at Arsenal. Also a useless player from the Wenger eraMcTominay isn’t old he’s just trash.
Not exactly swimming in other options is he.His choice to play McTominay
Stick two unproven midfielders on for first game of the season. Brilliant thinking.
It’s easy to say this with hindsight after that half.
We look completely different to how we’ve been playing in pre season. Very very poor start.
Pretty bad. Played off the park by Brighton so far.
I'm not sure what we should do.
Exactly. They are so nervous.Fear runs through the whole team.
Oh please,he’s the least of our worries!Maguires confidence has been shot to pieces, the full backs are taking off from where they left it last season! Our midfield is a disgrace….I’ve said many times that De Gea is a huge problem. Yes he can makes saves but he’s terrible with the ball at his feet. He dithers putting so much pressure on the defence. I would have replaced him in a heartbeat but we need so many players this summer it was never going to happen.
ten Hag can’t play his style with De Gea, Maguire and McFred. All of them are rubbish with the ball at their feet.
The fecker being in the squad is hardly a good message.. he should be in the reserves after sitting out all of pre season. The problem is not not having them on the pitch.
what made him think Maguire should ever start a game?I’m very surprised that ETH has seen McFred through the whole of pre- season and thought it a good idea to start the season with them- pathetic
