No, but he doesn’t demand dominance and penetration. He demands discipline and work rate. That’s the difference really. Our players are too afraid to dribble, make runs or roam from their place for fear of public humiliation by the manager.

There were some instances of poor football but it's much better (and more consistent) than the dross we've seen since he left.

Well, there's no argument there. The standards were different back then though. People were moaning about us being boring and grinding results. Until we ran away with the league 3 months early, that is.

I can't even see work-rate either.
All I see is the ball being hoofed by our GK, bypassing our midfield, then we lose the ball and the ball comes back with blue shirts attacking us hard.
It's as if the players don't want the ball.

Why is one half of our games always bad? Not that the first half was great. We either start too slow or drop off the pace in the 2nd half. I don't think they are fit enough.
