Don't know what Shaw's done poorly this game. We need new left backs, and we need a right back too. Valencia no where near good enough in attack or general technical ability. Does well enough in defence but in attack his touch and passing is really poor.

This. I remember after a good performance where Shaw either scored a made an assist Mourinho stated that he had to 'direct' Shaw's every touch of the ball because he couldn't think for himself. Terrible stuff.

Every Brighton chance came because of a Shaw mistake. I like the guy but I understand why Jose doesn’t trust him. He’s a massive liability in defence, he’s asleep half the time and concedes big chances every time he plays. I just don’t think he’s good enough unfortunately.
