I think Collyer deserves a start personally, I'd give Ugarte some minutes off the bench. I'd go with something like:

    Onana
    Dalot De Ligt Martinez Amass
    Antony Collyer Casemiro Garnacho
    Bruno
    Zirkzee

Ideally Ugarte, Wheatley and a youngster from the U21s (Fletcher or Williams maybe?) would get minutes off the bench too.
Hopefully Bruno does not start. Maguire should start if hes fit

Why? We need to win the game and we can take him off once we've got a couple of goals. If Fletcher had already played before I'd be happy playing him but he's not ready for a start I don't think, too much pressure.

Our U21s literally beat their first team 3-2 a few weeks ago. Feltcher scored a brace. We can also play Eriksen at the 10. Bruno needs a rest and is playing like ass at the moment too.

    Bayindir
    Dalot Maguire Evans Amass
    Collyer Ugarte
    Antony Bruno Garnacho
    Wheatley

I'd like to see Amass, Collyer, and Wheatley all start this game. It should give us a good indication of their development. Given their potential, I believe they can hold their own against a League 1 team. Since they've been on the bench for the senior squad, they haven't had much opportunity to play for the youth teams, especially Amass and Wheatley.

The players who started today should be rested, as others need game time as well. However, the midfield presents a tricky situation. A midfield trio of Collyer, Ugarte, and Casemiro might not offer the right balance, so Bruno will likely keep his spot.

Casemiro and Eriksen for Ugarte and Bruno around the 60th min so that they can be fresh for the next game. Shame we can't rest Dalot as well.
I agree with most of your lineup, but Eriksen should start over Bruno. Have Bruno on the bench, and hopefully you don't need him at all. Then sub in Case for Ugarte in the 2nd half.

I would bet it wasn't a full strength first team from them...but fair enough, if the coaches think Fletcher is ready then play him, he's very talented. If not I would start Bruno, if nothing else I think it would help Amass because he'd be able to drop into left wing like he was doing when swapping with Rashford against Southampton. If Amass isn't playing then you can take more risks in front I think.

Eriksen should play ahead of Bruno. We can’t run Bruno into the ground all the time. Its bloody Burnley

If we need Bruno, or any important first XI players for that matter to beat Barnsley, we should just go home.

He's played once a week so far, he's not being run into the ground and he'd be first sub if we were cruising. Also it's definitely Barnsley.

Yup, that should work too. Eriksen would be at his best higher up the pitch and this should theoretically be a good game for us to take Bruno out of the starting line up.

After having a short break and no pre season before getting into competitive matches

    ……..………………Onana
    Dalot…..Maguire…Evans….Shaw
    ………….Casemiro…Ugarte
    Garnacho..…Zirkzee….Rashford
    ……….……………Hojlund

Give Shaw, Hojlund 60mins if fit enough.

    Rest Bruno and Mainoo.

If Shaw and Rasmus are fit would expect them to get a run out.

Thought both were due back around internationals and sure I’m saw videos of Rasmus doing physical training a few weeks ago.

Nothing on Shaw or Malacia actually.

    Bayinder
    Dalot-Maguire-Evans-Amass
    Cas-Ugarte
    Bruno
    Antony-Rasmus-Garnacho

Shaw was meant to be a minor injury and back after the international break. The cnut isn’t even training yet.

Antony, Garnacho, Ugarte, Maguire, Casemiro, Evans are all nailed on to start this one.

Collyer is a good shout, the season is long and he might be needed, so good to give him a full match when you can.

I’d pick the midfield for CP and play the ones not starting that game. But we all know EtH loves to play the strongest line up whenever possible.

Which tbf is understandable considering he can’t get through 2 press conferences without having a massive drama to address.

    -------------------------Altay----------------------------
    Dalot------Maguire-----Evans----Amass
    ---------------Collyer-------Ugarte-------------
    Antony-------------Zirkzee--------------Garnacho
    ------------------------Wheatley-------------------------

I really want to see a Collyer-Ugarte midfield in this one. No more getting physically overpowered in midfield.
I would go with exactly this line up.

I’d like to see Biancheri get rewarded with minutes in this. Maybe coming off the bench at some point ?

Rest Mainoo. Start Ugarte. I guess we have to play Antony.

    I would like to see

    ———————Onana
    Dalot—De Ligt—Martinez—Amass
    ———————Ugarte
    ————Casemiro——Eriksen
    Antony——————————Garnacho
    ——————-Hojlund

Let Casemiro enjoy himself. I do think he still has something to offer if he has the protection of Ugarte so could be valuable depth. Give Eriksen another go for an hour or so.

Take Ugarte and Martinez off at HT if possible. Minutes for Maguire, Shaw, Collyer.

He's doing very well at youth levels, but he should still be below Wheatley in the pecking order.

Wheatley's not been loaned out, and is getting named in some matchday squads - if we're to give an academy striker some minutes v Barnsley, it really should be him. Might be an opportunity for Biancheri to be in a matchday squad and do what Wheatley's been doing - unused sub. But it would be a real slap in the face for Wheatley if Biancheri gets used before him.

Think we need to be using Zirkzee and Wheatley primarily in the #9 role for this one.

    I like this line-up

Dalot should get a rest though

Why are some putting Shaw and / or Hojlund in their teams? I thought ETH had (unsurprisingly) already ruled them out for this one?

I thought he'd said: "It will not be the case for the next game, but hopefully in the next weeks they [Hojlund, Mount and Shaw] will return to the squad."

Would like to see Ugarte, Collyer and Amass in, Mainoo and Mazraoui out.

On a different note, the late, great Tommy Taylor signed from Barnsley. RIP

We should be able to field the players that need game time for this, sprinkled with a mixture of those trying to break through, and still win comforably.
But this is ETH he will probably field the strongest 11 possible.

    Onana
Dalot - De Ligt - Maguire - Amass
    Ugarte - Collyer
    Amad - Zirkzee - Garnacho
    Rashford
For me Bruno, Mainoo and Casemiro need resting, good opportunity to do it. I wouldn't risk Martinez either.

Is shaw and mount fit for this game. Or even Hojlund? Might be the best game to get them some minute back after injuries

    Unless the Amass!

I fecking hope to see Amass start at LB then us go with Evans. He looked decent in the pre-season and can easily be introduced in this type of game at home.

    Onana
    Dalot Maguire Evans Amass
    Casemiro Ugarte
    Antony Bruno Garnacho
    Zirkzee
