Imagine if we win it with a ugly 1-0 and Weghorst scores :D

    Instant hero.

We need to win this game. Not that I want to go far in EL this year, as I would rather take the Carabao + 3rd place in the league, but I can't stand Barcelona and we need to win this game for all the pain they gave us since 2009

First time we have had both Sabitzer and Casemiro available. I wonder does Ten Hag pair them for the next two games, considering it will be their first appearances together and both big games. I have a feeling he will, alongside Fred. With Bruno from the right, he has been there for a few games now.

Wonder if ETH will go with Weghorst behind Rashford and Bruno on the right or a midfield of Bruno-Sabitzer-Casemiro.

In any case it seems he's preparing something special.

Really confident for this game. Haven't felt like this in a while but you just feel we'll win most of the time these days. It's great.

Not as worried about Maguire being available as Varane and Martinez should start....it'll be nice though getting Antony back to have a bit more experience options coming off the bench when and if needed

Laughing at Liverpool is one of the best things on the face of this earth. But with the Barcelona game around the corner, now getting the jitters.

Just hope we win with confidence and not go into a shell. The fans at ot will be up for it.

Even if we lose, I am still happy with the progress ETH is making. Game on.

2013: we were comfortably better before that dubious red card.
    2018: we were shite.
    2022: we were shite.

We're not actually shite this time around so it's not to illogical to be optimistic.
One dubious red card and it’s over. This is Barcelona, the most famous cheater in Europe.

    ter Stergen
    Kounde - Araujo - Christensen - Balde
    Busquets
    de Jong - Roberto
    Raphina - Lewandowski - Torres

Imagine they'll line up something like that?

We didn't have Case against Lei. And Lei has lot of pace, Barca has basically no pace. Of course you can't be 100 % sure but imo there's nothing much to worry about them. Tbh watching them I have no idea how could they got on top of Liga.

My only worry is they might buy the ref again. But with the ongoing scandal imo no ref would be stupid enough to take the bribe.

Thanks. As long as he could stay neutral there should be no issue imo.

From playing absolute fodder like Elche, Cadiz and Getafe twice a season. La Liga is crap.

That’s a Brazilian thing. They have railroads for surnames so always go for first name or nickname

    * Fred -> Rodrigues da Silva
    * Ronaldo -> Nazario da Lima
    * Kaka -> Izecson dos Santos Leite
    * Pelé -> Arantes do Nascimento

You can fit Busquets on the back of a shirt easily

His name is Sergio Busquets Burgos

I didn't want us to go far in EL either but now I realize we've a pretty big squad with lots of players to rotate so we might as well go for it.

We have at least 2 players for every position who are international footballers so we might as well use all of them.

I think we'll start with similar lineup to first leg only with Martinez replaces Malacia.

I doubt Antony is match fit. He might come off the bench along with Sabitzer, Garnacho and McTom.

If we got a handy draw in the next round then we could play 2nd string defensive line who are all capable. Now that Antony and Martial are back, we could rest Rashford and Bruno

Was going to be flying in from Cyprus to watch this game, but my friend who booked the hotel forgot that he needs a passport to be able to travel to the UK from Hungary and his passport is in Switzerland
Would have been my first ever game :(
Come on Utd, time to do Barcelona
    :)

RvP at the training ground today. Love the reception he gave to Licha & Malacia.

No Werghost please. Between Rashford, Bruno, Garnacho and Sancho we have enough power in attack, with Antony in the bench.

Garnacho definitely won't start, he's a liability defensively. Leicester constantly exploited it. He'll appear off the bench.

I think Weghorst will start. I'm not sure Antony is match fit so Sancho will start. Sancho seems to get gassed so will be subbed off

If I had to bet I'd bet on United. Not only you are playing better but also we won't have our 2 best midfielders. However, with the exception of the second Bayern game we have competed very well in all other games so it wouldn't surprise me if we manage to win.

    De Geas
    Shaw
    Martinez
    Varane
    AWB
    Casemiro
    Sabitzer
    Fred
    Bruno (right)
    Sancho (left)
    Rashford (middle)

Dominate the ball in midfield and isolate their forwards. Antony/Garnacho/Weghorst off the bench if things are not going to plan.

People going Defensive, no idea why when we attacked them so much at their ground.

I think Weghorst played really well in the first leg.

    Back 5

    ————— Casemiro—Sabitzer—————
    Bruno——————Sancho—————Rashford
    ————————Weghorst——————————

No Fred? I‘d think he is nailed on to start after last week‘s performance.
