We're all saying that we can't expect to win today, and this is, of course, what will keep Louis in a job if we lose by a huge margin; "well, we couldn't have won with that team", but who's idea was it to have a small squad? Who's responsible for not bringing in enough quality backups? One of those is playing up front for Arsenal but I'm sure Van Gaal won't shoulder any of the responsibility for that either. It'll be Murphy's law and we'll keep plodding on.

I think he would. We wouldn't have nearly as many injuries either. I lay the blame squarely at the feet of Van Gaals training intensity. You can't tell me that all of these injuries are just freak occurrences.

I'm assuming Carrick and Rojo as CB's with Blind at LB....

If that's right, I'm OK with that....Carrick has rarely let us down when he's played CB and unlike many on here, I quite rate Rojo - especially as a CB where he seems to put himself about a bit more like all Argentinian thug defenders do....
