It's always the injuries fault. Imagine expecting to go a full season with only one forward.We didn't struggle against Chelsea seeing as we battered them 4-0. A combination of missed chances and penalties cost us 5 points against Wolves and Palace - we did more than enough to win both of those games comfortably. We were top of the xG table after those three games too.
Then injuries began to pile up and performances inevitably deteriorated.
Were you at the Chelsea game? No matter how pleasing the final score was ,we certainly didn't batter them on the pitch that day.
