No shot on taget against the most out of form City in years... and wtf is wrong with our corners...

Does anyone else think Onana could have saved the header that led to the goal? He didn’t dive for it and it’s not the first time he was found on his heels. I kept thinking that De Gea would have at least dived to try to save it.

Zero threat past the halfway line whatsoever

The attacking part is the final and hardest to implement. I’m actually happy that everything from defence to CM, CF, and Amad is working. Just need a proper number 10 to replace Bruno. Shame Mount got injured. Also our midfield became better once Mainoo came on.

Low quality game. To be expected I suppose, when was the last time a Manchester derby didn't have at least one team right near the top of the table?

Throwback to the 80s, it's like watching Villa v Birmingham or Newcastle v Sunderland from later periods.

Unfortunate to be behind, that deflection turned into a perfect cross for Gvardiol. We've maintained shape well but have created Zilch. The only encouraging thing is that we can clearly see how we can improve, a quality LWB alone would take us up a level. It's so weird seeing Bruno not always go for the killer ball, I know he's instructed as such but we need to be braver now. We've got nothing to lose. Rather lose 3-0 than limp to 1-0 loss with zero shots.

Can someone explain to me why Walker is not booked for simulation? Absolutely ridiculous dive.

Feel City haven’t really created anything and somehow get a lucky deflection from a corner and score.

Our major problem is we are getting nothing from the left wing in terms of beating a man etc.

Mainoo also has been off the pace imo.

Crystal Palace, Fynoord gave a better account than we are doing here.

Our midfield in attack is not good enough, in games like these you gotta look after the ball better.

We lose possession every 5 or so passes.

Mazza is not going forward, I think by design

Dalot, the less said the better.

It's a bad sign when Ugarte seems like the most composed of our midfielders

I cannot see what we are supposed to be doing in attack

    It's dire

Unlucky being one down. We are so poor in last third. Little more quality there and we would be beating them. ManCity are poor.

City are at their absolute worst and we look terrified of them. So many weak personalities out there.

I guess a half being boring is an improvement on being sad.

But pretty much every other team gave City a fight at the Etihad this season. And United are about as threatening as a wet sponge.

Seriously, am I only one who noticed how fecking lucky KDB was for that cross??? He just kicked it into Amad. So fecking annoying, absolutely no luck going our way.

How Ten Hag spent £600m to end up with such a disastrous set of attacking players is criminal.

Having 3 CBs but carrying one who is useless in the air hamstrings us for set pieces rather than it being a strength.

Not sure about DDG but Peter S or VDS very much so... it would help if he tried

We need to drop one of the defensive wingback probably Dalot for a more attacking option. Think we need to be braver on the counter aswell, seems a bit more interest in keeping the ball for possession stats sake than actually hurting city.

Well we could add to our attack, if Walker was sent off as he absolutely should have, and if City were left playing 10 men for the rest of the game. But nobody knows wtf is VAR for, anymore
Maybe but it doesn't detract from our inability to create anything against a team with 11 players

Although VAR can't intervene for two yellow card offences

Need to at least make yourself hard to score against which this United team haven't done in these type of matches over the last few years.

Sick of the mentions about Man City form when they have only lost 1 home league game this season and United have only won once away which was on first day of the season against Southampton and highly unlikely that stat will change 2nd half but I can always hope!

    He was booked for it

We look like we're concentrating so hard on the structure that we've forgotten how to attack and create chances.

The team does not know what to do with the ball in the middle.
It's more pragmatic, with more order and there is almost always an extra player to help the one defending and fight for recovery it, but not actually control it with a more clear idea.
The few opportunities created on the break, too many offsides (for various reasons), some bad decisions and bad controls to take advantage of those.
United still is a team without a clear idea of what to do in possession, how to create dammage and still basing creating chances on counters, quick recoveries or some fast transition.

From that close distance, it was always going in.

can't help feeling garno would be ripping them apart and keeping their fullbacks pinned back in fear... good to see keano calling walker out for the dive... if roy had been on the pitch, he'd have bitten a chunk out of the cnut
