Feeling strangely confident about this today, we're going to lose by 3 goals instead of 6

You won’t believe it. M. Oliver is VAR ref.

Didn't know that. Guess it really is a definite loss. It's rotten he is still allowed to work as a referee, nevermind games with context like this.

I'm a bundle of nerves. I shouldn't be, it should be a forgone conclusion with the way the season has gone, but it's a one off game... surely we have a chance, right?

Gary Oldman, a red and a legend:

You are not alone in thinking that, Guy. Here's actor Gary Oldman absolutely buzzing to be next to the FA Cup trophy.

He's also predicting an interesting scoreline - 5-2 to Manchester United.

    You mean 1 1 5, Gary?

Anyone know if this is true, im pretty sure it isnt

It's not true unfortunately, he's trolling.

Just watched the players leave the hotel and get on the coach at the Marriott Hotel in Kilburn London. Not far from me.

Had to try and out sing 4/5 Arsenal fans who were screaming "scum" and "Tottenham rejects" for the whole time.

Anyway, the players looked upbeat and a few fresh haircuts.
"Tottenham rejects", why that? Because of Eriksen or our links with Pochettino and McKenna? Sorry don't get it.

I can't believe how unexcited I am about this game. I love the FA Cup, normally I'd be really stoked for this but I keep forgetting this is even being played. No anticipation and optimism whatsoever.

I'd say if we played this game ten times, we'd win 2, or maybe 3 at a push, out of those ten. But the leaks undermining the manager's position have turned this into a contractual obligation fixture.

Be delighted to be proved wrong like, but....meh.

I really don't understand how he can keep getting United games. Different rule set for us. The pen against City, never seen again, Dalot incident, never seen again.

Add to that, his team can directly benefit and can only get Europe if we lose.

Worst referee of the lot. Can't wait for him to try to get Casemiro sent off and look away when we have a potential pen.

I actually think we have more potential to get at city this year than last. With some decent options from the bench, too.

Our defence is a big worry though. It could be over by half time.

I am very pessimistic about this match. I don't see where I should get optimism from and why I should believe in a United victory today. I think, we will lose 5-0-

    ................Onana............

    AWB.Varane.Martinez..Dalot

    ..........Mainoo.Casemiro.........
    ................Bruno.McT..............
    Amad................................Garnacho

But what are you basing that on? He's on a reported 350k a week for 2more years.
    That isn't shifted easily.

The same as Mitrović gets in the Saudi. Less than what Brozović, Laporte, Fabinho, Kanté are paid.

I think this should be the team. Overload the midfield, protect the back four. Be patient and trying to play on the counter.

Doesn’t BBC 1 show the build-up to the game? Just scottish stuff now
I'm watching on BBC1 currently in NL and seeing the build up, maybe the Norwegian TV has the 'local BBC' from somewhere in Scotland?

Amrabat? No Hojlund. Brave (hiding behind sofa)

Amrabat is going to spray passes for Foden and Bernardo to run into:')

No Hojlund, or Casemiro. Packing the midfield. Can't see that working.
