I’ll be watching this through thick beer goggles on ITV because listening to the likes of Lineker and Shearer spewing fourth their “unbiased” and “neutral” bitter BBC views might just send one of my boots through the tele and that would definitely give the wife the hump and potentially ruin the weekend.

Rashford, Antony ….they’ve certainly played their part in this disasterours season.

Interesting to see if Ten Hag plays either of them ….wouldn’t if I were him.

With regards to the Casemiro/Amrabat debate. It is true that Amrabat gives us more stability and back four protection. At the same time he’s been poor lately.

We will need that protection today, but we might also need Casemiro’s through balls and goalscoring ability.

I’d probably start both and have Mainoo above them, and play Bruno wider. Simply because of the opposition.

But I think it’ll be Casemiro alone as a DM. He lacks a lot of pace and plays more risky passes than Amrabat, but also offers more going forward.

Tough decisions for EtH but it will probably be:

    Onana

    AWB - Varane - Martínez - Dalot

    Casemiro - Mainoo

    Amad/Garnacho-McTominay-Garnacho/Rashford

    Bruno

I think your lineup is pretty probable. It'd be interesting if he'd play Case-Amrabat with Mainoo as a 10 and Bruno as a false 9. I feel like Mainoo isn't as good with his head as compared to McTom but offers more on the ball there.

For the wings, i feel like Amad did most to deserve a start out of all of them. Garnacho had a ok season but has been particularly poor in the past few weeks. Rashford has been poor in the past few months, however..

I wish EtH was a bit more pragmatic and picked a more defensively solid lineup to start big games. Keep it tight for an hour and then you can change it if needed.

But we know it'll be just one DM and our midfield will be walked past with ease. Just have to hope our defense & Onana have a good day. It could easily be Casemiro again as a CB if the other CBs are not able to play the full match.

Is it true that line up has been leaked by players or is it just some media bullshit?

Just watched the players leave the hotel and get on the coach at the Marriott Hotel in Kilburn London. Not far from me.

Had to try and out sing 4/5 Arsenal fans who were screaming "scum" and "Tottenham rejects" for the whole time.

Anyway, the players looked upbeat and a few fresh haircuts.

Agree with the defence but I think Hojlund may start although you can see the benefit of bringing him off the bench. I'd like to see Amad and Rashford start just because I think Garnacho off the bench would be very useful in the second half. I also have a feeling Rashford will have something to prive given his exclusion from the England provisional team.

Antony does work that little bit harder than Rashford and tracks back more as well. Although that is hardly saying much.

I would definitely want to see Højlund from the start, just think we’ll go with the system that has somewhat worked in the last couple of games.

Oliver on VAR same guy who gave the Arsenal goal v Everton last week..

I'm hoping rather than expecting anything..I've done a silly bet Utd on pens Rangers on pens.. 230/1 .. who knows ..

It's funny to see more people voting for a United win here than when we played Brighton.

I've gone 6-1 to City, but I do wonder if they might take their foot off the gas after the first few. Could be more like 3-0 maybe.

If we play MCT upfront I'm not even going to watch the game.

I never thought of that
To be serious though I have loved the cup since I was a little boy, it was taken so seriously by the fa the clubs the players the tv companies and of course us fans.
Now they treat it as a joke with silly stupid comments during the draws, no replays games stretched over the week managers using second string players or worse, such a shame but a cup final day should still be cherished as something special.
i will be avoiding the woke Football Focus today it’s an embarrassment that programme and will be watching the match and build up on ITV to avoid that annoying unfunny Cnut Lineker.
come on Erik show those blue bastards that United on their day can still beat anyone, 3-1 Utd.

What is woke about football focus, and what problem does that cause?

Antony is said to be intensely humiliated at just missing out of the POTY award to Foden . Biggest shock and injustice he's experienced in his life. He's planning to set the record straight tonight - we're alright folks!

Incredible that oliver is on var with his city record this season.
