Where is good to watch the game in town tomorrow? As usual I have forgotten to book and would ideally like somewhere other then printworks, this year.

No chance. Just give them the cup and get this season over it.

So, if BBC or ITV interview ETH before the game, do you think they will ask him if the reports are true & if so, will he give an honest answer?

I'll genuinely be pissed if Rashford starts. Amad earned his place.

We all know what will happen though...

Im honestly suprised INEOS and/or the club havent complained about Michael Oliver and Stuart Burt being amongst the officials for this game and demanded they be replaced

City won't need any help mate. Unless United suddenly take on a Spartan-like mentality between now and kick off, City will pick up another pot.

You don't bench a guy like Casemiro in the final for fecking Amrabat. Whatever about the season he's had, you don't settle for mediocrity, you go for the win and going for the win is hoping Casemiro can roll it back for likely his last elite level cup final. Suicidal move if he does this.

Agreed, on top of that last game Amrabat was dreadful and Case decent. Pretty sure Casemiro starts tomorrow

6 to 1 odds for us to win. I'm not confident but that seems pretty steep for a one off game.

Thankfully, it seems that I will be able to watch this on BBC Scotland and on STV, despite the fact that the Scottish Cup Final is taking place at exactly the same time. I’m not sure what channel they’ll show that on though. I’m guessing BBC One.

    I'd like to see:

    Onana
    AWB - Varane - Martinez - Dalot
    Mainoo - Casemiro - Amrabat
    Amad - Bruno - Garnacho

With Hojlund & Rashford primed to come off the bench against tired legs. Tell Amrabat to keep things as simple on possession as humanly possible.

Amad deserves the start after his recent form. Hojlund could argue similar but I think without that extra midfielder in there we'll just be walked through.

I think we can nick it if ETH plays it right.

The only hope I have is United players playing for some kind of future - be it at United or somewhere else.
If any put in a dogshit performance tomorrow, then they truly deserve to spend the rest of their ‘career’ at a lower level

Depends if EtH wants to play Varane from the start and then replace him after 30 mins when he gets injured. Or start with Casemiro at CB and bring Varane in for the final 30 mins.

Once that choice is made the team picks itself behind the front 3.

Then do you go with or without Hojlund.

Well if ETH knows he’s off regardless of the result do you honestly think he cares?
Feck if it were me I’d say feck it and put ou the craziest team I could muster, treat me like shit I’ll treat you lot the same, I’d even put Rashford in goal just for shits and giggles.

Or even worse, play Rashford in attack!

He'll be trying to win the match to be able to look back on his two years winning two trophies and getting to three finals. I suspect the leeway he gains by this is if a player is not working for the team he could sub him off in 20 minutes into the first half (i.e. Rashford not tracking back, or something similar).

The 25th of May has arrived, the last match for United in what has been difficult, frustrating and injury hit season. Hopefully United can deliver their most competitive performance as possible and then see where that takes them. Best of luck!

Remarkably everyone is back training before our biggest match this season. Very convenient
Yeah. Only Maguire, Malacia and Shaw still injured if I'm correct?

It's nice to have almost all CBs back for this one anyway. Still playing best team in Europe and even in 1 cup game it'll be so difficult to beat them. Thought our chances were like 30% last year and back then we just finished 3rd in league and had a good season. Got worse in a year while City basically repeated their last season minus losing to Madrid on penalties.

Losing 3rd Fa Cup final in a row would suck. That never happened before to us - during 50s and 00s it was 2 in a row. However not sure ever before we were facing a team this good.

Get stuck in boys! Let it rip. Go after them. FA cup final, I'm going to enjoy it with an early day pint on USA time.

For sure bummed the ETH news flow came out now. Fire that leak, classless. (and I want a new manager)

I hope EtH goes with an attacking gong ho style, it's pointless to sit deep since our players don't know how to keep it tight so just go for it, high press high defensive line and fly into tackles, set up with Mainoo, Mount and Bruno in midfield and just go for it, city will smash this team anyway so just go for it and don't hold back at all.

    The team I'd play:

    Onana
    AWB Varane Martinez Dalot
    Mainoo Casemiro Amrabat
    Bruno
    Amad Garnacho

Stay compact and contest the middle throughout. You know City will be looking to move us side to side, stretch the team and open up gaps to play through or free men for cut backs. We should be patient and not bite, ensure that all four men in the middle plus Amad from time to time keep the area congested and close off all passing lanes. Him and Bruno should be often looking to release Garnacho the few times we'll have the ball, so the latter should be the one looking to take advantage of City's high line.

God knows what EtH will play, especially knowing he's getting sacked. If he plays McT or Rashford, then it will be confirmation that he has indeed been out of his depth, rather than just the perfect storm of disasters in a season.

Sort of true because Casemiro's performances this season in midfield have fallen well below mediocre.

Of course he cares. He needs to find a job. And nobody will hire him if his main accomplishment this year is that he finished 8th with Man Utd.
