I hope we just go for it and be brave, we’re massive underdogs and are all expecting to lose comfortably so at least give it a go and throw caution to the wind.

    De Gea
    AWB - Lindelöf - Varane - Shaw
    McTominay - Fred
    Sancho - Bruno - Pogba
    Elanga

    3-0 City.

All I’m saying is, if someone offered me 4 points from Watford and City, I’d have taken it all day long. I doubt we’ll win today, but at least that’s a crumb of comfort before the game.

We tend to bring 22 squad in the match. 11 XI, 9 bench, 1 3rd keeper, and 1 youngster.

Press the shit out of them and start quickly like we often do at their place.

Surely can’t be as depressing as the game at OT…

Not exactly a terrible thing considering the way we’ll have to play today…

Yeah, we're gonna need pace on the counter - Sancho, Elanga and Rashford hopefully - if we're to get anything from this one. I always felt more confident playing on the counter with this side anyway.

That’s why I have to laugh when people convincingly suggest how our CB pairing should be Varane + 1. Yep, we’ll be absolutely fine relying on someone who misses more games than he actually plays for us.

Yeah I haven't checked the news before I posted. Elanga upfront then.
Agree. Would much rather see Elanga upfront than the deflatee, no-fecks-given Rashford that we've been witnessing this year

If this continues then have to make Rudiger an offer which Real aren't willing to match, however think he will stay at Chelsea

Ugh Varane being out is annoying. Same with Shaw. Ronaldo doesn't matter. Cavani never expected him anyway, he's perma injured.

    De Gea
    Wan Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Telles
    McTominay
    Pogba Fred
    Rashford Bruno Sancho

I would go with this. Need Pogba to provide our entire hold up play basically though which is unfortunate. Need Pogba, Sancho and Rashford to provide the ball carrying... will be tough basically. Not expecting anything.

We will probably control the first 30 mins and probably conceed a red card that decides the game.

My worry is Maguire is stone dead being recalled for this and the City front 3 will target him.

Anybody expecting anything? OK Spurs went there, and they convincing against the Toffees, but I can't see anything other than a home win. We cannot keep a clean sheet and 1 goal for City they will just pass us off the park, we will run around making blocks try to counter , for them to finish off the game with a 2nd and cruise the rest of the game. Long afternoon guys
