Mad to see the stat that United have won the last three Manchester derbies in the Etihad Stadium.

Telles in for Shaw, Lindelof for Varane, Sancho for Ronaldo and Cavani was only going to be a sub option for this match so his replacement and role for this game goes to young Jessie?

City by logic should be winning this game by at least a two goal margin but won't surprise me if United pull off another unlikely result.

A draw is far better for City than getting beat. Keeps them ahead. A defeat puts them behind on GD.

My guess is he and coaching staff decided would be best for both sides to rest. The injury part probably so media don't start speculating on nothing... Even then, Marca already taking advantage of it to get some clicks. But, that's a guess from me.

Why would he refuse to play?

SkySports says it's a knock, so it's probably a knock. In any case, Ronaldo would get next to no service today, which tends to aggravate him no end, plus he wouldn't be very useful in a counterattacking side anyway.

I want top four more than I want Liverpool not to win the title, as I'm sure is the case for most United fans, but at the same time, losing wouldn't be the end of the world.

There's also the added bonus of RAWK crying about how we threw the game to stop them from winning the title. A silver lining if ever there was one

I actually don’t mind it if we play a front 3 of Sancho Rashford Elanga we definitely need runners in behind so Elanga is a must for me.

Id rather us sit deep and counter with pace so something like. Formation whatever works best.

Injuries give us an opportunity to try Bruno as a false nine with Rashford and Sancho wide. I think it will work and gives us more balance than a static Ronaldo at CF.
