There are good players out there, they just don't seem to be doing it, and whenever things begin to get tough they all panic.
I dunno, the amount of times someone is casually just standing onside beyond one of our defenders and said defender just carries on as if he's not there until the ball is played that way is baffling. Happens so many times it's unreal.
Then don't understand the tactical set up at all. Had 3 against 2 in the middle but wasted our initial bright spell letting Fellaini push so high up before we'd actually got the ball in a good position that we couldn't get any good moves going at all. Meanwhile City showed it's not how many players you get forward but how you do it, getting a few great opportunities whilst still playing within themselves.We have 2 midfielders playing in defence.. Not sure if parking the bus might work.. I'd take out Van Persie and play Herrera in the middle.. We need to play Di Maria at the top and hope someone plays a long ball to him and he finds his way between the Centrebacks..Michael Oliver can feck off, unwilling to book Zabaleta and Clichy.

We've done well so far, by like I mentioned at the time, Smalling has undermined all our good work. Valencia has also been quite dodgy and that needs to be fixed now we're at a man disadvantage. If we can concentrate in defence (a massive 'if') we still have the quality of player to produce a moment out of nothing, so it's not a lost cause, but my god, Di Maria needs to show his quality.
Also, I wish the commentators would stop referring to LvG's comments about needing to control our emotions. It wasn't emotion that cost Smalling, it was an initial stupid decision followed by a complete brainfart.From my point of view...
