Lingard is utter fecking gash. His decision skills are still absolute shite. Simple ball to williams and he takes on three men instead.
You just know it’ll happen tooI'm looking forward to our staff coaching all of that talent out of him.
Aw man!!!Who is we?
They'll have to drive him down from Manchester.Van De Beek made that brilliant overlapping run, and Mata didn't move an inch after passing it on to receive a drag back.
I think the best subs we could make right now Martial for Ighalo (better hold up/dribbling down the middle) are Greenwood for Mata (left footer on the left) and move Lingard to the right with the instruction to stay wide.
We need to stop aiming for Maguire from set pieces.
It's because we're coached by PE teachers not proper coaches but lets not get into a discussion about that here.Every time i watch us play.. . it's the same thought, over and over again.
What in the feck is that?! Why do we play like that??
There is something deeply wrong with us, can't even put my finger on it.

No, you will not. Delusion can't be understanded because it is based on pure emotions, not logicmaybe one day I’ll understand people’s faith in Ole
I agree with your sentiment, but do think that a lot of what you describe is on our coaching and training. While the rigidity of LvG's cones (each player sticks to their cone) was perhaps unhelpful, there is something to be said for drilling positional sense into players. I have no problem with Mata, VdB, and Lingard starting along a line, but there has to be understanding between them that if Mata drifts inside, VdB slips out wide to maintain shape (and vice versa on the other side of the pitch).
There's playing square pegs in round holes and then there's moving the pieces around so that the square pegs still fit together. You only have to look as far as Gasperini at Atalanta for an example of how easily players can adapt to and embrace a creative tactical setup, and how that setup can turn a group of bargain bin buys into a fearsome squad.

Not exactly hard.

Haha. Well I meant do you mean we as fans, or we the club, because I assume Ole picked him knowing what sort of player he was, rather than looking for a primarily attacking right backAw man!!!
I'm confused. Are you saying we aim for his head because it's so big the ball naturally gravitates towards it, or it's so big it prevents our set pieces from reaching their intended destination?I don't think we are. His head is just that big. It's the best blocker we have.
