We’ve been the better team. Just final pass all the time, a mistimed header from Amad & Hojlund’s poor shot straight at Alisson. If we had a clinical striker, we’d be deservedly winning this

Considering Anfield, their attack and athleticism all across the field, we've done quite well here. Looked aggressive, solid defensively, created two good chances to their one. Mainoo, Bruno and especially Ugarte have really done well. Our attack is what is letting us down, but that is the story of our season anyway. We might still lose this game, but the team has shown some spirit which is something to hang onto after the terrible month we've had.

Alisson did well to narrow the angle for the Hojlund chance. The moment he took that touch Alisson was exactly where he needed to be.

It was a one on one but there wasn't much to shoot at.

Very good half considering the expectations, Ugarte has been a monster in the middle of the park and the defense has looked solid.
Höjlund and Amad needs to improve in the second half.

Still hangs a little wide while playing in the forward line for me, if he tucked in 5-10 yards I think he’d see a lot more of the ball.

Good performance. Most players have been excellent. Dalot and Hojlund are the only frustrating players. Hojlund is really a week point at the moment.

I'd be happy if we maintain this performance even if we end up losing. Showing character is really more important at this point than the points. If we concede first we can't allow ourselves to crumble like we always do.

A decent first half from the team and should have scored as well. Still expecting us to get punished for the missed chances and undo the hard work of the 1st half but hope that we can maintain this spirit and organisation.

There really is no excuse for that finish. He is under no physical pressure, it's a good angle, he has time to set himself, it's on his favored left side. In a game like this, it can so easily be the difference between points or no points.

The tragic thing is, that our second best option doesn't even get to that chance.
