    Honestly what do Sky Sports see in Sourness?

    He's not charismatic, not particularly insightful and not even remotely entertaining as a consolation as someone like Micah Richards is despite his poor punditry skills. Just an old, bitter, biased man who sticks to his stubborn opinions which are clearly proven wrong time and time again.

    He's better off just taking a job at LFC TV where he gets to be his usual biased, bitter self.
     
    Any word yet on Varane, Sancho & Shaw’s fitness for this or is it a guessing game till when the teams are announced?
     
    It would be interesting to know if our more reasonable, level headed Liverpools fans here on the Caf agree with alot of the gash that comes out of Souness’s mouth

    Are there any level headed ones?
     
    This is Liverpool’s opportunity to really turn a corner and the perfect catalyst for their season. They will be BANG up for this and for a result we will have to be near on perfect across the pitch. The liverpool fans are going to be up for this too. If we can get 3 points here it will be massive, especially Newcastle and Tottenham both dropping points and the top two winning.

    Literally chewing off all my nails now, almost hurts to type. Am so worried about this match. I feel like we're nowhere near where we have to be to even get a draw at their place. I think this is where our fair winds stop and if they beat us by how many I imagine it could break the spirit of the lads, and this could be the beginning of the end of top 4 for us this season. Spurs are wobbly but this 6-pointer for pool is probably what's gonna send us to Europa League, if even that. I think Newcastle with their sportwashing will win through in the end with Fulham as a dark horse to knock us down further. If we can somehow get a draw today we still have a shot at CL next year, but I'm really worried. Salah is back to his world class level, Nunez is gonna unlock today, and Gakpo will be fired up to prove Ten Hag wrong since he didn't want to sign him. I need to get started on the booze asap!
     
    I hope "Steady Eddie" and "too short to play CB" have massive performances today. I know Carragher has done a U-turn on Martinez but still.

    Sourness is difficult to listen to.

    Yes he is young and has time to develop his other foot. But it was a lot of money to spend on a one footed player.
    I can not imagine for a second that Pep would have been happy with that.
    Robben has a few more tricks and also was more attacking even with just one main foot. Whereas if Antony can not get past the defence, he tends to pass sideways or back.

    It's still an incredibly dumb statement that he's never been as confident. Last season Liverpool were flying and United were dreadful, how could he be more confident going into this game than last season's?
