    Christ clubs raise their game against us all the time just because they wanted to beat united. That wasn't just for points, hence game raising motivation.

    However remote, we still have a chance at top 4, that should be the motivation! Christ, the guy can't win. I'm sure you would have been thrilled if he'd come out and said "we're not going there looking to get top 4, it's about stopping their title charge".

    I didn't even know the point was anything to do with Maguire, just responding to a nonsense post. All you sensitive lot need to stop making nonsense up to defend him at every turn then such confusion won't happen.

    I mean claiming stopping Liverpool shouldn't be a motivation just to defend a CB in awful form. This fecking place indeed.

    Defending him? I want him gone, he's not a leader and he's a terrible defender. What nonsense are we making up?

    As a club, are we so small time that rather than motivate ourselves for our own personal goals, we do it to ruin someone's else's party? Is that how far we've sunk as a club?

    If we managed to get something tonight, taking points off their title charge would be the cherry on the cake, but it should not be the priority ffs.

    Haha I did walk into that but seriously I can see us getting a pasting. The OT game could have been a lot more than 5 if they decided to get out of second gear. Maybe they will feel sorry for us again as Klopp won’t want to embarrass his mate Ralf too much.
     
    I believe that our starting line up value will exceed Liverpool's starting value and our wages would probably be close to double of there's. I am really debating whether to watch this game or not, I fear being absolutely humiliated again and whereby I will always stand by this club, I cannot stand by these players anymore given the minimum amount of effort they give and the complete disregard to the fans that pay their wages.

    If i was RR, my appetite for risk would be Zero and I would consider being unambitious in this game and play the following:

    De Gea
    AWB Lindelof Bailey Dalot
    Matic Jones (both holding and purely defensive)
    Lingard (so he can track back and run around pretending to close people down)
    Elanga Ronnie Sancho

    Tonight is about keeping the scoreline down and having some control on our goal difference that is only 8.

    Absolutely. I would be pleasantly surprised if we lose by two goals or fewer. Getting points (and denying Liverpool points) would be phenomenal.

    We haven't done the league double over you guys since 13/14. A win tonight would be the first time since 2009 we win three league games in a row.
     
    This game will be damage limitation. I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool score 3 in the first half alone.
     
    Hope Rashford gets a run up front, do not want to see the weird Bruno and Pogba up front thingy ever again.

    His pace in behind could be useful.

    I've never been less confident going into a game against the scousers. I'd genuinely be relieved if they beat us by the odd goal - I worry it could get ugly.
     
    Rashford still shouldn't be playing regardless of Ronnie. Why start the game with 10 men?
