Players are always judged on what they cost. What on earth are you talking about?

I wouldn't expect the same from Nick Powell (remember him) than I would Paul Pogba.

Just excuse after excuse with this fanbase. Wan Bissaka is awful.

Does that make it right, does it?

Would you expect the same from Rashford and Sancho? :wenger:

What excuse am I making? As Micah Richards said the other day, football is now all about stats and figures. People have lost their ability to analyse a game, unfortunately.

Slightly different scenario with Rashford as he didn't cost us anything. A very bad example to make on your part.

We are talking transfers and you're a fool if you don't believe that the higher the value, the higher the expectations. It's always been that way and always will. Hence why Grealish has been labelled a flop at city some some fans.

Wan Bissaka can't control the fee paid for him but when you go for big money you are then held to a higher standard and rightly so. He's just not good enough.

    It won't open anybody's eyes.
We even have MUFC fans who thought we'd beat LFC today.
It is shocking that some people are so deluded (that includes some fans, as well as our owners and let's not forget that the aim of the owners is 4th place).

IMO, the manager who arrives needs total control. If he wants to bench and sell the worst defender in the team (Maguire), he should be allowed to. And players like Pogba should be forced out, instead we offer him £400k/week+!
And don't even get me started on the "we are writing off the season", every single season.
The last trophy we won was 5 yrs ago.
The Pogba deal imo is bollocks there not offering him anything it's his team saying that. As for Maguire a CB is apparently being looked at in summer he's benched then. The season was finished when they decided to sack ole and not get permanent guy in .

Im happy I didn't see the second half, these group don't deserve a second of your time.

Rangnick says the team needs to be rebuilt and 10 new players need to be added. While this may be true, it's strange that he does not take any responsibility himself. This team finished second in the league last year and they have shown that the team is good enough to be above Liverpool (again..last season). The question is, why are the same players so poor this season when they were so much better season? Here, it will suit Rangnick to take some of the responsibility.

I want to see some fight in our performance. Ralf has to get it right tactically.
Will we go diamond? Will we go 442/4222?
I don't think too much in how we set up Will have an effect on the outcome. Personal performances and application will.

Just give us an honest performance, whatever the outcome I will be satisfied if they give EVERYTHING.

    Disgraceful

American soccer coach explaining the situation to Ralf..

speaking as an american who has my UEFA A that's a bit silly....doesn't matter what country you come from as long as you study the game and put in the work

tactics are tactics....it's not exclusive to England or Europe

Was right about this shower. But the court of public opinion backed Pogba. Who looks stupid? Not Mourinho.

Sure, even a broken clock is right twice a day, what’s his excuse at wanting to buy Maguire for 60 million? “Well it’s 20 million less than we got shafted for, Jose is a genius!”

Don't tell me what to do when you cannot stretch your brain power beyond insulting me when trying to argue a point.
:wenger: hypocrisy at its best, imagine leaving a comment like that insulting many of our players, going highly over the top and crying here for being insulted. Grow up.

I am plenty grown up and certainly don't need defending by some randomer on a football forum who thinks our brave heart of a captain should be afforded the protection of a toddler.

And judging Rangnick coming in mid season to a crisis is also living in cloud cuckoo land.

It’s not been good obviously but any manager with a pre-season and likely the most significant player turnover since 2014 should be able to at least instill an identity and approach to the game.

Experience is over rated. We’ve had experienced coaches and they often just seem out of date. You actually want a coach who is pushing boundaries and trying new things. A coach with a desire to elevate the team to new heights.

We need a coach who will rattle cages, that the players will respect and that the hierarchy will pay heed to. But all the signs are that we don't anyone like that. Hence why Conte was not considered suitable. They forget, for all Mourinho's faults, he was right about the state of the club and the poison that is there (Pogba).

Erm, he didn't buy Maguire!!! You will see pictures of his signing on with a certain Ole by his side.

From what I've seen of Ten Hag he does seem quite stern.

Absolutely right, tactics are tactics…..no matter where you come from(Europe, Asia, America). Stop being racist

What I found strange was not once did sky mention Utd were missing 7 first team players.

But last year, every game the absence of VVD was highlighted.

    Sky can feck themselves !!!
