I'd drag my testicles through 10 meters of broken glass for a draw at Anfield with our current away form. 1-1 draw with a late equalizer by someone unexpected. Jones or Rafael or something.
See this is why people think it's a wum, myself included. Fellaini's been good but we clearly have some very good fotballers capable of producing good football.
Are you not nervous of Sterling playing wingback and Fellaini just floating into that space every time we have the ball like he did against Spurs? Because frankly, that's as much of a no contest as you're claiming Sterling v Blind is.
Nonsense. With Andres Henderson in their side, we'll never have the ball.
Jaysus, the scousers are really out in force on this forum again aren't they?
It seems like there's more oppo fans on here than United fans, at times.Jaysus, the scousers are really out in force on this forum again aren't they?
I accept there are players that have some neat football: Mata, Carrick, Blind and sometimes Herrera. However, they're not brilliant this season and susceptible to being dominated by a pressing and passing side. Like Arsenal in the FA Cup.
They're specially susceptible to this away from home (Newcastle aside who no one can claim to be a good side this season). The only time I've watched them and gone oh shit is when the ball is 'delivered' to Fellaini. Other than that watching the 'neat passing' hasn't had my heart in my mouth in particular.
Our away form suggests a draw. However, our change of the front line and the rise in tempo recently gives cause for optimism.I'd drag my testicles through 10 meters of broken glass for a draw at Anfield with our current away form. 1-1 draw with a late equalizer by someone unexpected. Weird.
If I was a Liverpool fan, I would have definitely gone 'oh shit' when we played Rooney, Mata and Van Persie into clear shooting positions inside your box during the 3-0.
But then, I understand football.
If you're going to talk about games that far back, how did you fare against MK Dons midfield?

Few things on that:Weird.

Is this post sustaining the myth that Henderson isn't particularly good? Just asking.Nonsense. With Andres Henderson in their side, we'll never have the ball.
Few things on that:
- That game was the end of the 'bad start'
- Liverpool haven't lost since then in 90 minutes in any comp
- In that period Liverpool have beaten / drawn against better teams than United
- Since that defeat Liverpool have beaten teams that have beaten United in that same period
- No team has won more points in the league than Liverpool in at least the past ten games
- That game was at OT not Anfield - a quick glance at the history books would suggest that is very significant
- Liverpool also conceded 3 against Palace and West Ham around that period, it was habit-forming
These points are arguably important if you understand football.
Hmmm...there's probably something that's happened in the past 18 month that's even more significant than Liverpool's form. It's something that has had a profound affect on United which didn't exist in the previous 25 years. It's shaken the club to the core, seen one manager sacked already and the next guy looking a tad vulnerable.Yet more nonsense. What you need to remember about Liverpool and United is that the last year and a half is the norm while the previous 25 years was a freak accident.
Fair enough.Good boy miss the point.
Were you even reading what Dumbstar said?
He said "The only time I've watched them and gone oh shit is when the ball is 'delivered' to Fellaini. Other than that watching the 'neat passing' hasn't had my heart in my mouth in particular."
I simply highlighted that this is likely to be extreme bullshit, seeing as he would've watched us in that game take you apart without using long balls to Fellaini.
So nice list, but none of it is relevant to the conversation at hand. Anyone would think you're all a bit tetchy, prematurely jumping on posts like that.
Is this post sustaining the myth that Henderson isn't particularly good? Just asking.
He's wumming and hiding behind "my opinion" God forbid giving United any credit for having some half decent players and praise us when we do play some good football. Don't know what it is but you never get fans from other teams acting like this before a match. Is it some sort of inferiority complex?I just find it bizarre how the only time United have had you worried is when the ball is played into Fellaini, when we took you apart largely utilising balls on the deck. If you weren't thinking 'oh shit' watching that, you don't understand football.
You're clearly lying. No surprise there.
Fair enough.
That said, they are points that deal pretty well with about 80% of the stuff being posted about Liverpool in here.

All that crap goes out the window when it comes down to United playing Liverpool, how many season have we dominated and won the league yet lost or drawn to Liverpool either home or away?
Form goes out the window.

It's fear. They smell a defeat and are getting the excuses in early.
We tore them apart earlier in the season by exploiting gaps and playing through them.
This will be a different game but no reason why we don't take the same approach, fresh off the back looking close to our best against Spurs, and Liverpool looking shaky with a team playing around them.
We can quite feasibly win and dominate the game with possession football. If we also use long passes to Fellaini to exploit an additional weakness in their backline, so be it.
Hahah... Are you also one of those who would take 4th position at start of season in a heart beat?!I'd drag my testicles through 10 meters of broken glass for a draw at Anfield with our current away form. 1-1 draw with a late equalizer by someone unexpected. Jones or Rafael or something.

Yep, apart from the dozen or so actual cup finals Liverpool have played over past 20 years...Well it has been their cup final for the last 20 years, while we've had bigger fish to fry.
I watched the Spurs game in the Siam Square Novotel. Can confirm it was an atmosphere-free zone.I will be watching this match from a pub/bar in Bangkok. Does anyone know of any United's bar in Sukhumvit with English expats?
I hope we smash them on Sunday. United fans are terrible when their team has been in good form. So annoying and over confident.
