    According to Manchester Evening News, a number of players are back after their injuries, Martial, Lindelof, Shaw and Smalling.

    If that's right, it looks a bit better both in the attack and the defense and our chances to score a point should increase.

    I think the post you replied to hit the nail on the head, mourinho isn't going to go anywhere. Atleast not for the time being. He will be at the club until the point we manage to matchmatically no longer are able to qualify for top 4. We have all seen in the past the board can be slow to make crucial decisions, like firing managers. They will continue to be so. Once we can no longer reach top 4 his season and his tenure will be reviewe as a whole. At which point they will surely come to the logical decision.

    Let's hope he magically turns it around somehow starting with tomorrow. Pains me to say we all know at the moment on form we aren't favourites, but it's a big occasion we can't be written off. Plus although I find myself loosing strength to supporr mourinho, seemingly each passing day. He could shock the world tomorrow.

    We won't commit many men forward. No matter the situation, they will have to score against a packed defense. Tilts the odds in our favor a bit.
     
    Ive got a feeling this will be like that arsenal game under lvg where we went 3-0 down quickly.

    So sick of this shit. What I'd do for a Keane, Staam, Robson now to wobble these lads' heads. They seem to be more interested in being social media stars and getting more followers and branding than their football.

    One of those situations where you hope for the best but expect the worst.

    I don't expect to win. Expect we'll probably even lose.

    But I hope we do win it. I don't care how. I don't care if we pack 11 men behind the ball.

    You mean we are going to have shots on target? because i can't think any other way of doing that.

    Maybe you mean Fellani and Lukaku manhandling him in the latter stages when we play hoofball.

    Hope is what killed my love for sport this season. Second half of last season too. For me anything other than a defeat is bonus. This is the state a lot of fans are in because of the fraud of a manager we have.

    I am just feeling strangely confident. Only scousers will anoint Alisson as the best GK in the world after a decent save. I hope Jose starts Rashford and Martial tomorrow. That tandem could be the key to getting anything out of this game.
     
    Sigh. We are going to start with fellaini matic and herrera in midfield right? And Jones and bailly in defense. This is going to end well and I am watching the game with my brother in law who happens to support Liverpool.

    Lukaku will start. We will be fielding 10 players and a cone. Blunt attack. Static final third. Yee-haw!

    Only an in-form DDG can save us like he did last season at Anfield.
     
    Nothing in football is certain and I dread this fixture coming around every season. You could have lost every match, be sitting 12 points away from safety at the bottom of the league and I'd still hate this fixture. Why? Because when we were miles behind you lot, we were still able to pull a result out of the bag sometimes. They were usually ugly 1-0 wins but they were wins all the same.
    We're going to lose our unbeaten record at some point this season, I just really hope it's not today. Mourinho loves a result at Anfield and nothing would give him more pleasure than saving his job there.
    Hoping for a win but it's not the forgone conclusion that many on here think it is

    We'll see it as a good sign. Underestimation is one of the greatest sins in team play, it can get the biggest favorites to become too confident for their own good.

    If this is what the players in the opponents team think too then they may have an unpleasant surprise, so bad is not MU if everyone in the team is tight and motivated to fight for their honor.

    Unfortunately, our club has become all about negative records.
    And this season does seem to be all about those negative records.

    Surely Lindelof, can't go straight back into the starting XI, after being out for over a month?
    If he does play, I can't believe it'll be for more than a few minutes, at the end...if we are winning comfortably.

    The big problem for me is, Phil "own goal" Jones. If he plays today, we will effectively be starting with a 1 goal deficit. And before you say, "but if we start a goal down, we can make a comeback". Jones may help LFC score in the final minute of the game, leaving us no time to make a comeback.

    Yeah I think the same. I hate our football, I don’t like our players and can’t stand the manager.

    But we’re amazing at game raising against the big boys. Our transition to 90’s Liverpool is complete.
