    Absolutely want to win this one. Derail Liverpool and allow City to get back on top.

    I've gone for a draw. Dunno why in our current state. However, today I'm not worried about our tumescent style. Just as long as we get something, anything out of this.

    Christ :wenger: listening to those two pressers there is no question which manager sounds beaten already … even given that Klopp has more to be happy about currently, he fielded questions (even loaded ones) extremely politely and with humour. He answered in terms of Liverpool football club, not personally too. I'd absolutely hate to be in Jose's dressing room.

    If we have such a defensive nightmare just before the important run of Christmas games coming up, why the hell have we not recalled TFM and Axel?
     
    I really can't contain myself to witness another 80 minutes of not getting out of our own half, only to concede a late goal and then spend 10 minutes smashing the ball long upto Lukaku and Fellaini.

    I really can't wait.

    You can't recall season long loans until January.
     
    Strangely Im actually looking forward to this game and not nervous at all, which I used to be in the past when we played pool. I have zero expectations and fully expect us to lose, so a win would be a welcome surprise.
     
    I would be happy with a draw today.

    I don't think I've ever seen such negative score predictions on Redcafe before. Twenty percent are predicting three-nil to Liverpool.

    My prediction is one-all. Liverpool to score first, and a late Fellaini equaliser.

    TFM is not particularly good. I have no idea why people think he is. I don't think he'll ever play in our first team, consistently.
    Axel is good, though and would definitely fit into our defensive line up.

    I think it's the opposite.
    If we come into halftime behind, we have a chance to make a comeback and win the 2nd half.
    If we are 0-0 at half time, we won't raise our game and LFC can win the 2nd half.
    Remember, we only start playing when we are behind. Before we go behind, we have no intent.

    In our last match, against Valencia, we had to go behind 2 goals, before scoring 1.

    Ok I get your point, but let’s see how it pans out. Liverpool have the pressure on them as they’re at home and are expected to beat us at the moment....they’ll be nervous about that. If they score early they’ll settle down and we’ll be in for a long afternoon. I think, anyway.

    Think we might pinch something from the game as well. Not sure why as form would say we have no hope, but Jose seems to be doing just enough and a draw here would be just that.

    If Jose can't get the players up for this one then he deserves to go now.
    The players should know how much this means and need to be up for the battle.
    It will either be a tight affair with a single goal seperating us or we will get smashed.

    The likes of Young, Herrera, Rashford and Lingard have to play this - the type of players who give a feck about the badge and the fixture
     
    Wont be nice. They will outrun, outfight and outplay us while we will sit back and watch it happen. The way we defend with no attack, this could get ugly
     
    Honestly would not put it past Liverpool to tank it on purpose so that we suffer for the rest of the season.

    Jones isn't great but I would have him on the pitch before Pogba and Lukaku any day.

    This kind of stuff wouldn't grate so much if it was a couple of youngsters in their first season in the first team, it's that Lingard and Pogba are senior pros. It sums up the lack of leadership and professionalism in the squad. These two are our modern day equivalent of Giggs, Neville, Scholes etc. Then again i'm probably just out of touch.
