How many times must he prove it? I think we got the message a while ago. I used to love Liverpool away. The players and supporters were always up for it. This time it feels like we're beaten before a ball has been kicked in anger.

I feel exactly the same mate.

They don't care anymore do they!
I get they do stupid stuff in their free time...but after the shite we’ve seen on the pitch you’d think they’d keep it low-key or at least video that shit in their own homes and not at Carrington.

Rod Thornley behind the camera giggling like a schoolgirl is the worst bit for me. A grown man. Then again, these tits aren’t kids anymore.

Rashford, distance yourself from these helmets before it’s too late, we saw what you were wearing at the J-Lingz launch. On that, why was Lingard dressed as they guy who’s face melts at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Quite looking forward to the game, he’ll set out for a draw from the off imo. My only real worry is an absolute drubbing of the kind that the result will be on t shirts like the Sick Swan shite from the bitters. Apart from that we can’t really lose whatever the result. Win= happy days. Lose by the odd goal= expected and no pressure, lose by two or three= someone’s time might be up, happy days, lose by more than that= defo getting sacked. Draw= meh

Like to be optimistic but am fearing this game more than any other in the José reign. Genuinely think they might take 4 or 5 off of us if they score in the first 15 minutes. It won’t be like against the other teams recently who have gone ahead against us then tried to protect the lead, Liverpool will go for the throat.
I think the same. This is our hardest match of the season. Harder than both City and Juventus. Why? Because of the pace of their game and the speed of their transitions . They play the game at 200 mph and we are known for slow and laboured football. it could get very ugly if they score early goal

Liverpool will win tomorrows encounter by a fairly large margin I fancy - something in the region of 4-0 - nothing in football has ever been so certain.

Plus this result will be the catalyst for Liverpool's title-winning triumph. It's their year. Guaranteed.

Was contemplating what I'd rather see at the end of the season based on the following possibilities while driving home the other day.

Liverpool win league, City win CL
City win league, Liverpool win CL
    Liverpool win both
    City Win both
    Liverpool win league only
    City win league only
    Neither win feck all

The easy and obvious choice is the last but my gut tells me it will be one of the other options. Let's hope Jose can pull a Christmas miracle tomorrow and give City an advantage on the title.

Ranking them from most horrendous to least horrendous I would go:

    Liverpool win both
Liverpool win league, City win CL
    Liverpool win league only
City win league, Liverpool win CL
    City Win both
    City win league only

Obvious neither winning anything would be great but it ain't gonna happen as one of them is definitely winning the league.

It’s difficult to get excited and be positive about such a big game when you are convinced that the manager is openly sabotaging games to prove a point.

    Oh really.
That is such a silly thing to say.
Jose against one of his arch rivals and he is going to sabotage the game so he can loose. Of course he is NOT.

Thing is. How many times we had a rout against us? I mean every time people thought we will get destroyed it never hapened. Of course it could happen tomorrow but on the other hand form goes out of window in games like this however bad we are right now.
If they score early though it will be a long afternoon. And in many away games this year we did concede early.

I'd agree with your list pretty much 100%, but the bolded option is by far the most likely to occur. The fact of the matter is Liverpool do not win league titles, they only talk about winning them.

City is an entirely different animal though, it will take a miracle to stop them this season and the one thereafter. The rest of us are merely playing for second place and we have been from day one.

Or we will win ugly with 1-0 and it will start their run of bad result? :)

    Home games, too.

I cannot recall a United defence as inept as the one we have presently.

I never thought I would ever say these words but here it goes.

For the love of God, just win this.

Can you see us keeping a clean sheet? I really don't. We can't even properly defend this season.

I’ve never had that “we’re going to get hammered” mentality, I do about tomorrow. The way we are playing at the moment is just the worst way possible in terms of letting Liverpool get their heels up.

Well then it will be more beautiful when we win if we win. :D They'll be well up for it, convinced we'll be just sheep for slaughter. All the more drama if they lose. Preferably with an offside goal and a Lovren red card.

We will park the bus, the coach and even the tractor and they would huff and puff and eventually win by the odd goal I feel.

I don’t care if we sign John terry and Joey Barton On free transfers tonight and they combine to score the winning his tomorrow, if we win we win and it’s the perfect early Christmas present.

    De Gea
    Young - Bailly - Smalling - Shaw
    Herrera - Matic - Fellaini
    Lingard - Lukaku - Rashford

Not looking forward to this. Expecting it to turn up being ugly. 4-0 Liverpool is my prediction.

    No Martial? He's not fit?

    No Martial? He's not fit?

Thought he's not, but Mourinho pretty much confirmed post Valencia game that Rashford and Lingard are starting so either he'll start ahead of Lukaku or will be on the bench. Surely I'll hope he's ahead of Lukaku.

Makes no sense when you consider it’s the exact same squad as last season except we sold Blind who didn’t even play much last season. Dalot and Fred have not played enough to blame our results on them. It’s the players and manager. More so the manager for me. Our inability to perform is as much down to mentality as anything else. Jose is responsible for the mental state of the players. Our skid started on the tour.

I see Liverpool dominating us but managing only a 2-1 win.

But no added momentum on sacking Mourinho. We’re stuck in this hell until we’re mathematically out of CL qualification.

It's somewhat interesting to compare the state of United and Liverpool, given the situation when Mourinho took over and when Klopp took over.

It stinks that every manager since saf left has had us in this exact position where losing isn't the worst thing in the world because it might get them the sack. This is the fault of upper management who never seems to act in a timely or desisive fashion and try to salvage a season but wait till it's too late.

    Completely agree bud.

You’ve just highlighted the sentiments of a minority of us in this community. It doesn’t matter whether the upper management makes the decision early or late, who they place in charge, we may see temporary relief but the real problem still exist. We’ll just get to the same situation in a short time.

Im pretty sure we’re not a minority.

It’s not interesting, its fecking disgusting Bob!
