Phil Neville on NBC said it was accidental and has done a good job on commentary so far.
Why tho? Just be yourself (within reason), he's not gonna loose his job over it. He goes too far the other way, it feels like watching a game with someone moaning incessantly in your ear for the whole match.Bit harsh.
I think Neville is trying not to be biased while wanting us to destroy them.
It's so little can content many.Don'tcriticise him, he'll make one assist at the end of the game and everyone will laugh at you, despite Mkhi being our worst player and being one of the main reasons we haven't scored before.
Just way too passive for me. I know this is what the manager does, and has done it with high success everywhere he's been. But man oh man, let's get after then a bit more.
The heel of Lukaku's boot clearly hit him in the face, whether intentional or not who knows, but that shit would have stung. Why was he acting again?
The problem is your players don't mean to have possession. They have been set up defensively by a manager who has a long history of playing very deffensive football in top games.
Pretty much everyone has to play a role in defence, in a game like this thogh, and Mikhi has the pace for the counters as well.
This is exactly how Mourinho set the team up against them last season. Not impressed
Not for this situation alone obviously, he's a pretty terrible pundit in general. He usually is very unbiased, and maybe he got Lukaku's intention wrong, but it doesn't make him a terrible pundit lol
We miss big elephant in the room I'm afraid.
Still doesn't change the fact that Lukaku's boot hit him in the face does it?Because he rolled 10 times but when the ball went out of play he was totally okay all the sudden.
Well I think there's your problem. We finished sixth last season and you're expecting us to compete for the champions league? We're still rebuilding and there will be many ups and downs. This season is about getting back to a solid premier league challenge.
And like I said, SAF also used to get outplayed consistently at Anfield.
All commentators do that. It’s daft.
Don't mean to have possession but at the same time the defense is so open and there're lots of space for Liverpool players to run in. I haven't seen such a thing in my life.
If Mourinho parked the bus it would have been like the game last season when they didn't even get one clear cut chance during the game.
Still doesn't change the fact that Lukaku's boot hit him in the face does it?
fiar dosNo, but from the reaction you'd think he stamped him in the face. Also sudden healing when the ball goes out of play shows that he made a meal out of it.
We are playing 4231 aren't we? Martial and Young on the wing with Darmian and Valencia being the full-backs.
Were playing like shit though. The two times we keep the ball is the two times we walk through them. Saying that David has had little to doWell, is it comfortable like you suggested?
He usually is very unbiased, and maybe he got Lukaku's intention wrong, but it doesn't make him a terrible pundit lol
Him too.I think we miss Fellaini more.
Its cowardly not to IMO. Look what City did to ChelseaI hoped he would be braver and push Liverpool
Weather the impending 15-20 mins of the second and settle for a point.
