This is one of those games I wish had forgotten the time and end up checking the score when it's finished. Save all the stress

Still all the negativity in this thread doesn’t make any sense. We are a much better team than Leicester - of course we will win.

I would play the all star 11 that includes Matic, Pogba, Bruno, Mason, Martial, Rashford and blow the bloody doors off. Cock the hammer, it's time for action.

Certainly not going to lose. Play the first 11 and let the rest of it take care of itself. Really looking forward to it.

Level on points and similar goal difference....
We may have a few better players on their day, but we are not yet operating effectively as a team.

Nervous are tingling on this one, normally not a issue but given our last two games not been firing it can't be helped.

Just can't see Ole slipping up with team selection on this one like he did in FA Cup.

    COME ON YOU REDS.

Hope Ole does the right thing and rests Maguire, Bruno, Pogba, Rashford and Martial for LASK second leg.

We always seem to drop points if I eat anything while watching a match. Tomorrow, I'll try not to.

Lose tomorrow and that's the end of Ole to me. We have had countless opportunities to get this over the line and he has failed time and time again. For the record I don't think we'll lose but If we do, he shouldn't get another minute at the club.

Total respect for what he has done and brought a sense of belief back into the squad but If we want to be going places as in challenging for titles and Europe then I don't think he's the man to do it

I have no problem giving him another year If we get a result tomorrow though

As happy as I am to have Jose's tactics long behind us, this has to be the template for tomorrow.

They need to win so we can afford to ensure we're tight at the back first and foremost. Play with a slightly deeper line to negate the danger of Vardy against our two tugboats at centre half, let them have the ball in their own half, then press them once they're deeper into ours and exploit them at pace on the break all day long.

We don't need possession tomorrow - just give our front 3 and Bruno space to run at these lot on the counter and we'll hurt them. The only way I see them hurting us is if we push up trying to dictate the game in their half and Vardy gets in behind Maguire and Lindelof.

If we fail tomorrow (= lowest Premier League points total) and then do not win the Europa either, I also think he should go.

I agree with that however Ighalo for James with martial on the left.

Ighalo will occupy there centre halves and martial and greenwood, I think, will destroy them tbh.
Good shout, would definitely consider that as an option too. I think it would be right to drop Rashford for this. No disrespect to him, i still believe he will be a legend for us, but his form has not been good and we could use a stronger bench.

I have thought that almost every game for 7 years, still end up watching, just cannot resist.

Agreed, we need to make a comeback and score 5 more goals more for that game.
    Don't forget AWB and Greenwood.

    Laird - TFM - Mengi - Williams
    McT - Fred
    Dalot - Pereira - James

Subs: Chong, Mata, Lingard, Levitt, Garner, Matic, Tuanzebe, Jones, Henderson

We really should be winning this. The players need to go out and really show they want it. Leicester have been poor for a long time now and they're missing plenty of key players. Home advantage would have been massive if fans had of been there but it means feck all now.

Not sure what you're trying to point out here.

Each time we approach games with attacks, it's always with counter-attacks depending on when our players feel like doing it and availability of spaces and opportunities. Bruno definitely push for more counter attacking play. Always with 4231, and very few games with 352 (eg. vs weak team this season cup game).

But with 352, we normally play defensive but never only defensive though, there are always counter-attacks involved. Rarely attacking possession with this formation, since it's a system to combat opposing team by nullifying them and hit them hard on the break.

You initially said that we only play 'defensive' and 'counter attack' when we use a 352. The point that I made was that we clearly dont just play that way in a 352 and have done so on numerous occasions in a 4231, too.

We've literally used a 352 three times in the PL this season, all of which against teams who keep the ball better than us - Chelsea, Liverpool and City.

All the talk, especially before Bruno came, was that we were a team who struggled to break down teams with a low block, and that most, if not, all our goals came from counter attacking.

Granted we counter in a 352, think the reason we play that system is to try and nullify the attacking threat of the full backs of the teams I mentioned above.

So Leicester have the following injured/suspended payers for tomorrow:

    Chillwell
    Ricardo
    Soyuncu
    Maddison
    Amartey
    Fuchs
    Albrighton (possibly)

Honestly, if we can't get a result we don't deserve CL
Indeed it'll be purely our fault as well if that happens.
That list looks ridiculous. I'm confident we'll win this one.

I'm in NZ and the games are always on when I'm fast asleep so I watch them when I wake up without checking the score.

I'm 50/50 on whether I have the nerves to do that with this game. Think I may just wake up and check the score first.

What are the pdds in the casino for tomorrow match?

im nervous but surely we must be big favorites due to leicester recent poor form?
