2012 type of feels to this day, just hope we don't get a big Vardy moment.

Good shout, would definitely consider that as an option too. I think it would be right to drop Rashford for this. No disrespect to him, i still believe he will be a legend for us, but his form has not been good and we could use a stronger bench.

This is just insane. Let’s drop one of the key players and play another one out of position, while on a colossal unbeaten run, for the most important match of the season. Who do Leicester not want to see playing CF for this? Obviously Martial, and if Rashford was injured they’d be jumping for joy.

The team will be the first 11 injuries aside.

I feel we might go with a 3-4-1-2 (or 3-5-2), just to neutralise their attacking threat and Vardy.

    Bailly Lindelof Maguire
    AWB Fred Pogba Shaw
    Bruno
    Greenwood Martial
This isn't our best XI of course. I chose this for a couple of reasons:
    1. I have feeling that Rashford and Matic are knackered from the last game. I'd keep either of Rashford or Greenwood on the bench, in order to bring fresh legs on around the 70' mark.
    2. Matic is also slow and we need someone a touch quicker in the form of Fred in MF.
    3. 3-5-2 might be a good answer to their 3-4-3 at least defensively. The usual 4-2-3-1 may not be the best option in this game, its also becoming a tad predictable. We cannot afford to have a repeat of the Southampton or West Ham game.
    4. They will come at full throttle even with their injuries and suspensions, and we need to absorb the pressure. Its important to be solid defensively in this game, and hit them on the break. That should be the way to go.
Bailly and Shaw are still not confirm though.

Basically we only have 2 CBs. Maybe TFM could take Bailly's place.

As predictable as our style of play is in the 4231, the 352 is absolutely horrific viewing.

Can't remember being this nervous for a game in a while. Just please for the love of everything holy get the job done today, it would be fantastic to go into the Europa with no pressure.

It's time for this team to grow a pair and get the job done today.Actually feeling quite confident, loving the thought of Leicester back 3versus Rashford, Martial and Greenwood.

Too much negativity around here, I personally can’t fecking wait for kick off. Love these games, bring it on!

My fecking arse is twitching already.

This is it 90 minutes, time to stand up and be counted. We’ve looked leggy the last few games but if our lads can’t get up for this one with CL on the line they never will, adrenaline should be flowing and will carry them through. Really hoping Shaw’s fit for this we look much better with him down the left.

Are Leicester still missing Chilwell, Maddison and Pereira? Soyuncu's banned too, isn't he?

We really should be winning this game if all those are out.

Yep 3 of their best back 4 and Maddison. On paper it should be a formality but it won't be. I'm expecting a nervy one.

Yes. Their form since football returned from lockdown has been shite. We could not have asked for a better time to play them but that’s easier said than done, I guess

I hope we don't mess about with this 'switching to a back 3/5 to match them' bollocks.

I know we're in poor form lately but so are they - the lads need to just play their usual counter attacking game with the usual formation and go for the win.

When you factor in their injuries and the fact that the onus is on them to get a win, tactically we should be favourites for this match.

It's the motivation and energy that is the uncertain factor - they have their backs against the wall and will be massively up for it, especially Vardy (who we need to try and keep quiet).

If we can show even just a little a bit of fire, determination, grit - then our class should see us over the line.

Neither us, Leicester or Chelsea are looking good at the moment - all three teams are limping towards the finish line.

Yes, I think we'll get the job done too.

No Arsenal like celebrations for qualifying for the champions league would be good though.

was doing some gardening to take my mind of the game, that backfired.
My back is now fecked, cant even walk properly, now I am in pain, waiting for the match to start, very unsure how today will pan out.

We are in a better position than the other 2 & feel very confident we’ll make the places. Chelsea will have a very hard game with Wolves who will be going for a win for a EL place. A draw should be the outcome but I can see Chelsea lose too. Again for us on paper is a likely draw but we should win if we turn up. Just hope our players are fresh & the fatigueness has gone. 4pm can’t wait.

Big big game this....I”m very confident that we will get the job done.Leicester have been very poor recently, and losing players like Chilwell,Maddison and Soyuncu will definitely hurt them a little.I actually think we can win this game quite comfortably....
